17x14 Cookie Sheet by Vollrath Co.

by J R, VA
July 31, 2007

For someone who is willing to spend a little more for a quality product that they will get a lifetime of use out of, the heavy guage Vollrath cookie sheets are a no brainer. These really are thick large cookie sheets that cook very evenly, do not flex when you remove them from the oven and if used with parchment paper will remain attractive and functional for your lifetime and that of your grandchildren. I bake a lot and have tried the other styles, the no stick, the insulated, this exceeds them all. Quality trumps gimmick, go figure!

Of all the cookie sheets we have owned, this one has performed the best. Cookies cook evenly and the sheet does not warp. Highly recommended.

These pans are for professional bakers. I am a home baker but I search the web for professional recipes and professional baking tools and advice. This is a great pan for all cookie recipes. Browning is even and consistent. Volrath is a highly recognized in the culinary world. Well worth the price I paid.

the BEST cookie sheet

by M., IL
August 14, 2007

I am not a baker and so I'm not easily impressed by bakeware - this cookie sheet by Vollrath has changed my tune. A few dozen cookies later and I am a believer in the value of a good cookie sheet - what a difference in the texture of the cookies! Fantastic!

The Best Cookie Sheet Ever!

by Leah, WV
March 26, 2008

Wow! This is the perfect cookie sheet!!! It is very large compared to my previous cookie sheets, and even without insulation, it perfectly bakes my cookies every time. I have been making cookies so much more frequently since receiving this, and I have received rave reviews from my family, friends, and coworkers. The sheet makes great textures: crispy edges, perfectly browned and not burned bottoms and soft centers. Nothing ever sticks, and washing it is a breeze. I ordered two sheets for quick turn-around in the oven. The only negative is that the sheets are heavier than my other cookie sheets, so if you have arthritis in your hands, you may have more difficulty getting this sheet in and out of the oven than you would with other lighter weight cookie sheets.

Great Pans

by Bradley, TX
December 10, 2006

These pans are more heavy duty than you will find in any store anywhere. They will not warp and will last more than a lifetime since there is no non-stick surface to peel off over time. They are also aluminum so they will not rust. A layer of parchment paper and no worries about sticking or cleaning.

Heavy duty cookie sheet

by June, WA
February 21, 2007

I absolutely love the way this doesn't warp like my other, older non-stick baking pans. I now use my older pans in my greenhouse; keeps the potting soil from falling on the floor. Good thing I can recyle the old pans. I have 2 pans already; I'm anxious to get 2 more.

Substantial weight cookie sheet is probably the best on the market. Plus, it is MADE IN U.S.A.

Best Cookie Sheets Ever!!!!

by Susan, TX
March 1, 2008

I've been a professional cook and I currently cook for a family of nine. I never really enjoyed baking much until I was given these cookie sheets as a gift. They are marvellous! Their weight and heft are superb, they heat as easily and evenly as my Calphalon rangetop pans and they tend to be somewhat forgiving if I miss the timer by a minute or so. They clean up very easily.

Excellent cookie sheets

by Jason, MB
March 29, 2008

These Vollrath cookie sheets are excellent. As stated elsewhere, they are well-designed, with a nice weight and give superb heat distribution leading to better cookies. They resist warping, are easy to clean and work well both with parchment paper or Silpats. The value for the money is great as they are just as durable as All-Clad and others, but much less expensive. We purchased two sheets and will be buying more shortly. We are definitely recommending these to our friends.

Fine for cookies that need a thick cookie sheet (such as an air cookie sheet). I find that for many cookies, especially if made with butter, the inexpensive cookie sheet purchased at the grocery store works better because it heats faster and the cookies are less flat when done.

It pays to upgrade

by Nancy, NY
October 7, 2010

I purchased two Vollrath cookie sheets for my daughter, who had been complaining that the ones she had were driving her crazy--cookies burning, etc. She made a couple of batches of cookies soon after she received them and was pleased at how forgiving they were. She left them in the oven a little too long but the cookies were fine. Sometimes you DO get what you pay for.

Expensive but great cookies

by Donna, IL
December 29, 2007

Cookie sheets were everything I had heard about. Don't need added oil for chocolate chip cookies. Cookies slide off easily.Clean up like a breeze! Sheets are on the heavy side but not impossible to handle.

This is a great heavy duty cookie sheet that cooks food evenly on top and bottom. The cookie sheet is way too heavy to warp, it is solid. A cookie sheet that is so good I ordered more.

Beautiful

by Kristin, OR
February 7, 2008

I tend to purchase (after reading the tests) a lot of recommended cookware and food from America's Test Kitchen. This product is not only beautiful but so very sturdy and worth every penny. It was so nice to purchase a cookie sheet that you knew would last for many years. Since I'm avoiding purchasing very many non-stick products, this is such a joy to use and trust. Kris C.

The cookie sheets are great, but I ordered two and one of them arrived with a 9 inch scratch, which is fairly deep, however it doesn't seem to affect the performance at all.
