I ordered one for myself and was so impressed with the even cooking all across the cooking surface that I got one for my mother-in-law who taught me to cook for a big family and farm hands.

I go through one or two 9X 13 electric skillets per year some just don't cook properly and others stain and scratch because of the surface coating that I worry about contanmination of food. They also brown on top of the element and not evenly.

also the cooking connection with cord is a lot more heavy duty with this one as others tend to crack and short out and I have had to replace cords on others before skillet.
I realize that I purchased this product on sale and really would like to get another shortly as I use two of them at a time to prepare a lot of my meals for workers and family.

Fast warm-up. Excellent heat distribution and no cold spots like other electric skillets. Easy to clean. Best electric skillet for the money.

Sturdy construction, high quality materials. Good control over temperature. Easy cleanup. It's made in China (but then, isn't everything?).

I am really enjoying my new skillet. Not only does it
work extremely well, clean up very easily, it looks great in my kitchen. I can't wait to make pancakes for visiting family this weekend to show it off.

Should have had this product forty years ago when we were feeding six kids at home.
