I ordered this airpot to be able to have hot water for our green tea. It's surprising at how long the water stays hot. Every morning I refill it with boiling water and that's it for the day. The stainless look is great and it takes up very little counter space. I would highly recommend it.

This pot is great. Definitely use hot water in first as recommended then it keeps coffee warm all day.
I am going to order this for my daughter too.
Declining Materials and Workmanship

I have owned Zojirushi products before but was disappointed to find that the quality has declined considerably. The pump assembly in this, and most models, was once stainless steel. It is now plastic which I consider to be a health hazard and so I returned this product.

We used one of these Zojirushi Airpots in Japan for 3 years. It was very popular with our neighbors also. This new pot is exactly like the one we left in Japan and works just as well. We use it only for hot drinks and have never
been disapointed with its keeping power.

The whole 12 cup pot fits very nicely inside, and stays hot for a long time. The swivel bottom is a great feature!
Tip: Pouring steaming hot water in and dumping it out to warm the pot prior to pouring in the coffee makes the coffee stay hot much longer.
