    Waring is a dependable brand

Having had problems with dept. store fryer electronics dependability in the past, I chose Waring to be sure I was taking a step up in fryer equipment. Since I have just owned the Waring fryer a short time, I haven't got a good perspective on the overall dependability, but the design and usability are great. I wish it had more heating power. At twice the cost of the department store fryers,...it isn't twice as good.

Like two ships passing in the night ?

I read chef's reviews and virtually saw it on every food network show. So I purchased it thinking it had two small baskets and one large. The one I recieved only had one large basket so I returned it. However, Cooking.com has not acknowledged my return (by UPS $47) and I have not been given credit back on my credit card. Cooking.com was less than cordial in my returning of the fryer.
    Sincerely, James S. Gamble

I am very pleased with the deep fryer. I had one that continually leaked and was inefficient. This one does the job and does it well.
