Having had problems with dept. store fryer electronics dependability in the past, I chose Waring to be sure I was taking a step up in fryer equipment. Since I have just owned the Waring fryer a short time, I haven't got a good perspective on the overall dependability, but the design and usability are great. I wish it had more heating power. At twice the cost of the department store fryers,...it isn't twice as good.

So I purchased it thinking it had two small baskets and one large. The one I recieved only had one large basket so I returned it. However, Cooking.com has not acknowledged my return (by UPS $47) and I have not been given credit back on my credit card. Cooking.com was less than cordial in my returning of the fryer.

used it once so far... it fried my chicken nicely. thought the price was good until i saw same fryer in costco for $50.00 less....

Pros-
1. You can control the temperature.
2. It gets hot enough for any deep frying.
3. Large Capacity
Cons-
1. Oil draining is cumbersome.
2. Sides are flimsy when the oil pan is removed.
I have had my new fryer only a couple weeks and have used four times. It surpassed all my expectations. It cook very well and it was easy to clean up.

It's great for smaller pieces. I'm looking forward to doing donuts.

It has only been used three of four times in the two weeks we have had it but are currently very please with the fryer.
