I never thought I would buy a juicer. Our garden is producing well, and I thought juicing would be a nice alternative than our usual uses of our garden veggies. We love this juicer! So far we've only juiced fruit, but the difference between what you get from this juicer and store bought is significant. If you have counter space - buy it!

I've been using it almost two weeks now, usually juicing twice a day. I'm happy with it for the most part. It makes quick work of the vegetables, the juice just shoots right out. There are a few quirks, but no dealbreakers. On the higher speed, it's a little loud. If you put in too big of a hard vegetable (like a big fat beet), the machine looks like it's having a spasm, but it has suction cups on/as feet, so it shouldn't go anywhere. The whole juicing process can be messy. When the vegetables hit the blade, little bits can and will fly out if you don't have the chute covered. To prevent/minimize this, cut vegetables so that they don't stick out of the top of the chute. You want to have the chute covered as much as possible. Washing it is a chore at first, but it's pretty simple. Scrubbing the stainless steel filter is the hardest part. This thing takes up a good chunk of counter space. The last quibble is of the design. The spout sits in a cutout on the side of the container that holds the juice; the cutout prevents you from being able to fill the cup to its full height. And inevitably, the spout will dribble juice onto the counter as soon as you remove the juice container. These things aren't a big deal, but the designers should have anticipated these issues. Oh that silver bar thingy that goes over the top is NOT a handle!

It is a wide and tall unit and may not fit in the space between the cabinets and countertop. Definitely consider the smaller unit if your counter space is limited. Another option is to store it inside a cabinet when it is not in use but this can become a drag as you really want to have the unit conveniently available for use anytime. You can store the juice jug separately and save some space. The setup is easy. Use is simple. And cleanup is a breeze. All plastic parts clean perfectly by simply placing them under warm running water. The metal filter unit requires more cleaning effort but is readily done with a nylon brush (provided). The key here is to clean up immediately after each use when the food product is still soft and easily removable. Do not wait as cleaning effort will become tedious. The unit operates very safely. The noise from the unit during operation is lower than I expected and not bothersome at all. In my first test run I made a mixed juice of apples and carrots. It worked excellent. Outstanding pulp separation and the juice jug has a froth separator. I squeezed some lemon into it to zest it up a bit and voila it was outstanding. Cost wise, on the low side I used about $1 of apples/carrots to generate a full 8-10oz glass. That is an excellent value for fresh unadulterated juice product. On the high side, cost can jump to $2 to $3 per glass when using higher cost fruits/vegetables (brocolli, blueberries, raspberries, etc.). Still a good value. Overall, excellent product for the serious folks who want real juice, fresh and delicious. II expect many years of use.

The quality of juices is perfect for all fruits I have tried, that they are a little bit soft as well as hard. Very good product and I don't regret this purchase.

Cleaning is easy with included brush. Does deffinately put off some heat while running. Don't leave on if you are rinsing veg between grind. I love my juicer and highly reccomend it.

I must admit that I was a bit skeptical at first but once I started juicing, I was instantly hooked. My first test was green apple juice. OMG delish!!! The juicer was easy to assemble and even easier to disassemble and very easy to clean. Although some parts can go into the dishwasher I wanted to wash them quickly in case I got the urge to juice again. One suggestion, when you finish using it, rinse it as soon as possible because it has the potential of being messy if you wait. Don't know what took me so long to make this purchase but I'm glad I did!

My daughter was visiting from out of state and we had a great time experimenting with making different kinds of juices. Now, she wants one.
