This pan is to replace an older non-stick pan that was really too small for the job. It works great and is the right size. I use a pot like this to make sauces or cook grains like rice or bulgar, etc. Since nothing sticks, clean up is a breeze for these sometimes messy items.

This pot was a free bonus for ordering a set. I was pleasantly surprised that I actually got a functional pot as a freebie instead of some gimmicky or tiny pot. Same fit and finish as the rest of the set, and this nice pot is perfect for cooking grits, oatmeal or rice for 2 or cooking items for 1 or 2 people when it's larger siblings are more pot than you need. It comes with a very nice, well fitting lid as well. Great bonus item!
