Very well constructed, I like the deeper sided design but they just barely fit where I had stacked my previous pots. Not sure about silicone (draining?) feature attached to the lid but I've only used the pot a few times.

Lid not tight enough to hold steam, cannot cook rice per package directions. Will be returned.

I am returning this pot for a larger one. Seems I had no idea of the size I needed. I love cafalon products. Although I can purchase it locally, I have always been happy with my purchases from thebfood network.
