The heat-resistant strainer catches unwanted food bits, and the stopper prevents fat from entering the spout when you pour liquid back into your pot to finish cooking. A shield stops fat from spilling over the top of the separator. Measurement markings add convenience, and the nonslip handle provides a comfortable grip. Holds two cups.
