Fresh bread doesn't get any fresher or easier than this! Cuisinart offers expert engineering with a bread machine that adjusts the speed and timing, circulating air while baking for breads that are bakery-style fresh. With this bread machine, you get a choice of 16 preprogrammed menu options, a choice of three crust colors and three loaf sizes. Best of all, choose from over 100 bread, dough and pizza dough, sweet cakes and jams. For those who are health conscious, the Cuisinart bread machine lets you select Low Carb and Gluten-Free with preset menu options and recipes - a Cuisinart exclusive! Another special menu option is the Artisan Dough that takes basic bread dough through several long, slow cool rises for chewier textures and rustic crusts. Other features include a convection fan that circulates air for superior crust color and texture and an audible tone that indicates when it's time to add fruit, nuts or other mix-ins. A second tone offers the option of removing the paddle before baking or removing unbaked dough to shape by hand. There's a 15-minute Pause, Bake Only option, a 12-Hour Delay Start timer and Power Failure Backup. In brushed stainless, it's one bread machine you won't mind leaving out on the counter for daily use. Recipe book included.

Excellent

Easy to use. I made Beer Bread 2lb loaf and it took about 3 hours, crust was real hard, will use the light crust next time, used medium as the book instructed the first time.

Replaces identical one that died age 8 years

by Phillipa, MI
June 14, 2013

I had exactly the same model purchased about 8+ years ago. It was used 1 to 3 times a week and worked beautifully. I finally died, and was replaced by current one. I've used other machines, and this one is the best!

Not impressed

by SUSAN, ND
April 15, 2013

I have only had one opportunity to make a loaf of whole wheat bread. While the machine was working it was very noisy. Plus the bread turned out as hard as a rock. So I am going to try white bread this time. But not very impressed at the moment.

Easy to learn to operate

by Barry, TX
February 28, 2013

Bread maker comes with an excellent operations guide and many good recipes that are simple to follow. Our first loaf was more like a brick; then we discovered the barometer was extremely low. We tried it again when the barometer was high, and the loaf was perfect. So beware of weather conditions. We like the feature that allows us to remove the paddle before the baking cycle comes on. Handle the lump of dough carefully, though, when you roll it aside to remove the paddle, because if you "injure" it, there's not much rising time left for it to fix dents and furrows. What you see is likely what you'll get.

Loved the look of this machine as it matches our other kitchen appliances. It has a larger footprint than I thought it would but since we use the bread machine at leat 3 times a week the counter space is being used efficiently. Quieter than our last machine and we hope to have this one for just as long (10 years)!

Tried twice to make 100% whole wheat without success using the recipe that came with the machine. Don't want to make white bread. Will continue trying other recipes.

Convection Breadmaker

by Muriel, MI
August 23, 2012

For at least ten years I had a Panasonic Breadmaker. It was wonderful!! As they no longer make breadmakers, I decided to purchase a Cuisinart Breadmaker. I am so very disappointed in the product. I have used it twice and each loaf of bread was a disaster. I followed the instructions carefully but to no avail.

I have just received my bread maker and trying new recipes. So far I am pleased. Need to try all the bells and whistles to see what to do to make my breads lighter and fluffier.

DO NOT BUY

by aimee, VA
June 3, 2010

I have been very disappointed in this product and am seriosly considering returning it. It mixes and bakes bread fine on the smallest loaf setting but at the larger settings it goes "off track" and I have to pause the machine and snap the loaf pan back in its cradle. I mainly bought this for the delay time feature which is now useless to me because I can't leave the machine alone because I am constantly having to fix it. So much for having a fresh loaf of bread when I get home from work!

The machine arrived broken. I had an awful time getting it replaced. Finally had to get into contact with Cuisnart to get it replaced. Once I finally got a replacement and one that works, it does work fine. The one thing that I would do to improve on this is to be able to make a loaf of bread that was a bit larger, so that you could get more servings out of it.

A Visit Home!!

by kathryn, FL
April 23, 2009

I could not wait to get my bread maker so that my home could smell just like the smells I remember as a child. I have 5 boys ranging from age 24 down to 5 years old and when they all came home for our traditional Sunday gathering they all commented on how good the house smelled. When they all said that I just melted because I had accomplished what I had set out to do. Now my boys will always remember the smells of home and when they go somewhere and smell fresh bread baking they will always remember home.

Convection Bread Maker

December 27, 2008

I was very pleased when I made my first loaf. This is my 4th bread machine in about 10 years as I put them through a good workout. I really liked the shape and texture and the even color of the whole loaf.

Convection bread maker

by Dawn, NC
December 19, 2008

I've never used a bread maker before and after reading other's reviews, decided to purchase this model. I have been very pleased. I've tried at least 8 of the recipes in the book included. All have been very good with the exception of Country French Loaf with Olives and Rosemary. I've tried twice, it has good flavor, but an odd texture. I've already recommended this appliance to friends.
