This is my third Bread Machine and it is the best of 3 different brand names. I make all my breads and love making that special bread you can't buy in a store. To wake up with the smell of hot bread baking and coffee brewing will make you enjoy getting up in the morning.
This is not the most beautiful appliance you'll ever own, kind of a retro look, but you'll love the bread it puts out. We have had a bread machine for ten years, but when this machine made a loaf we ate the whole thing in one mass munch-out. The insides were moist, but not too moist. The outsides were chewy and just crisp enough. The mixing paddle had been removed so there wasn't the big hole in the bottom of the loaf. And, another good thing, the pan is immersible. All in all a pleasure to use and fairly easy to operate.
This is my 4th bread machine and is the best! I've made 4 loaves so far and all 4 have come out perfect! I've also made pizza crust and it was a big hit with our guests. There's so many options to choose to get your bread exactly the way you like it. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good bread machine!

Why I didn't care for bread maker
I feel that the machine dosen't raise the bread as it should. You have to figure out what the pause alarm sounds like your self. Someone else might think it is great but no, I just don't care for it. Yes I have had other bread makers so I'm not new at using them. It is very pretty and looks great sitting in my kitchen. It was a good try though. I am giving it away and buying another machine.
After I used the bread maker for now 5 times! the machine quit working. I just used the
braed maker at our vacation appartment which one we visit about four times a year. The last time, trying to make a white bread, the machine just stoped and made very loud noises. After some minutes I just unpluged the machine.
Finally " I can not recommend to buy this one!"
I bought this bread maker because it had the same features of a machine I needed to replace. Overall it is a nice machine and has a lot of great features like the pause to remove the paddle. The crust does come out a little dark even on the lightest setting but if you adjust the time for 5 minutes or so it helps.
I love my breadmaker! My first loaf more than met my expectations and I am still trying new recipes. I have not made the same recipe twice yet. I did not get good results from a breadmaker mix in the box. It made a really short loaf. If I had to give the breakmaker a bad mark it would be that the timer and controls on on top and I have to stand on tip-toes to read what I am selecting. It would be more convenient on the front of the machine. This is not enough of a problem for me to give it a bad rating by any means! I am looking forward to many more wonderful loaves of homemade bread!
I have had this bread maker about 3 weeks now to replace a more basic model and I am delighted with it. I love the fact that it is programmable and you really can program it to make fresh bread for when you wake up. I have stopped buying bread from the store in preference for the loaves I make with this machine. They really are delicious. The recipes in the book are good. I don't find the instructions hard to read -on the contrary, they are very clear and simple. I was concerned before I received the machine it might be high tech and complicated to use, but in fact the opposite is true. You only need to select an option for 3 separate buttons -loaf/ dough quantity/ size, crust and type of bread, unless you use the delay timer. It is easy to use, I have even had my 11 year old operate it. Some people mentioned that the crust was too dark on the medium setting -I haven't had that problem. I have also made pizza dough and fruit bread which turned out well too, I am using the machine 4 plus times a week as it does the job so well. Also I have to admit it does look good on the counter, although that was not high priority for me,
I purchased this machine as my husband and I were just diagnosed with gluten intolerance and the store bought breads were undesirable. Having read several reviews on Celiac sites regarding this machine along with several others, I decided to purchase this one because most of the reviews reported great success with gluten-free breads. I have not been disappointed. Right from the start I have never had a botched loaf of bread. It is very easy to use and cleans up easily. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone.
This is an excellent bread maker! Very easy to use. Comes with a book of recipes. You can set the bread maker to turn on at a later time so you will have warm, fresh bread when you arrive home from work. It's wonderful!
I am cooking challenged and I was able to master using the bread machine. It works well with the bread machine mixes sold in the store. It doesn't work well with the specialty bread machine mixes sold online. Always set crust on light and unless you like a heavy crust, it comes out perfect every time. For those who love the smell and taste of fresh bread but have never mastered the art of baking this is your best alternative.
Bought this unit specifically to bake gluten-free breads which have proven somewhat problematical in our old unit. The Gluten Free setting works like a champ. I recommend this unit to anyone who is on a GF diet.
I have used other brands of bread makers with varying degrees of success. This one, however, is the best. It's easy to use and program, easy to clean and results are wonderful. I've made both recipes from the product booklet and adapted a few from some favorite family recipes. The bread has turned out on all occasions to be wonderful. I highly recommend this product.
A great machine with lots of capabilities. I've owned other bread machines but this one is easier to use and the bread consistently comes out outstanding. By all means, to assure a great loaf of bread, make sure that you use good, fresh ingredients; bread flour, yeast, vital gluten, etc.
The controls are nicely arranged and easy to use. Instructions make it easy to follow for basic bread as well as for the various bread recipes included in the operating manual. There is a very convenient
I have made several variations on whole wheat loaves as well as pizza dough. Everything turned out great. The machine had lots of options for every recipe including rapid mode for all of the standard yeasted breads with just a change of yeast (to rapid rise yeast) and adding a teaspoon or so of wheat gluten. I made the carrot cake and I'm not sure this is the best way to make quickbreads. I made the mid sized loaf and it really needed help to make sure all the dry ingredients got mixed in. (Plus, I tweak the fat and other ingredients in my quickbreads, I don't want to be tied to their recipes.) The crust was dark and tough/chewy for a quickbread. Just a note to those who care, the gluten free breads all included eggs in the recipes.
