Enjoy delicious homemade bread without the hassle of kneading when you use the Cuisinart 2-lb. Convection Bread Maker. This bread machine uses convection cooking technology by circulating hot air, resulting in lighter, more evenly cooked loaves. Sixteen preprogrammed cycles allow you to adapt your own recipes, bake sweet or savory loaves, use fresh fruit to make delicious jam, or create perfect dough that you can form and bake in the oven. It can accommodate both gluten-free and low-carb recipes, and it has an artisan dough option that allows you to produce loaves with more rustic crusts and chewier textures. Audible alerts let you know when it's time to add ingredients such as dried fruits or nuts, when you should remove the mixing paddle, and when the cycle is completed. The Cuisinart 2-lb. • This is my third Bread Machine and it is the best of 3 different brand names. I make all my breads and love making that special bread you can't buy in a store. To wake up with the smell of hot bread baking and coffee brewing will make you enjoy getting up in the morning.

    I recommend this product.

  • This is not the most beautiful appliance you'll ever own, kind of a retro look, but you'll love the bread it puts out. We have had a bread machine for ten years, but when this machine made a loaf we ate the whole thing in one mass munch-out. The insides were moist, but not too moist. The outsides were chewy and just crisp enough. The mixing paddle had been removed so there wasn't the big hole in the bottom of the loaf. And, another good thing, the pan is immersible. All in all a pleasure to use and fairly easy to operate.

    I recommend this product.

  • This is my 4th bread machine and is the best! I've made 4 loaves so far and all 4 have come out perfect! I've also made pizza crust and it was a big hit with our guests. There's so many options to choose to get your bread exactly the way you like it. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good bread machine!

  • The bread is moist and risen. Definitely take out paddle at sensor to ensure easy removal. A very good cost value on this product, comparable to machine twice the price. Good choice.

  • As a celiac, the gluten free function was a great option...am having a little difficulty getting the bread to cook without burning. ( Even with crust on light)

As a whole, the machine is wonderful.

  • It makes good bread and probably better once I learn all cooking quirks.I am a hard customer to make happy but the eaters like the bread very well. Recipes are good. Looks are very good.
Cooking features are very good. I like being able to remove paddle, which I couldn't do with upper the of machines unit. I haven't done jams yet but recipes look easy and I haven't done pizza doughs yet either but they also look easy.

    I recommend this product.

  • Very easy to use. A little noisy at first, but I think it was because I didn't install the pan in properly. Very good looking. Have gotten compliments on it's appearance. Works very well. I have tried several different settings and have not been disappointed. Overall, an excellent product for the money.

  • We have baked three loaves with our own recipe and we like the machine and the taste of the bread. We are baking organic loaves with low wheat content and high seed content (sunflower, pumpkin and sesame ) so we are still experimenting with the density and the texture. I really like the dense texture and heavy crust. My wife would like to alter the recipe to yield a somewhat lighter loaf. The machine does what it is advertized to do.

  • The first machine arrived crushed in the back..The second machine's hinge broke after second use. Thought the bread was great in the Cuisinart until I ordered the Zojirushi as the third replacement. This machine turns out the best bread I have ever made. The pre-heat feature is a must. It is well worth the price.

  • this is a fine breadmaker!!! I am using it frequently, getting used to it, after having a different one for many years. I love the ability to make a 2lb loaf.
My biggest issue with it is the release of the blade. Having the ability to remove it before baking is wonderful, however, it is very difficult to remove, especially while holding onto a large amount of dough, it is VERY hard to remove from the pan, but once out, the process is wonderful.

I enjoy this baker, it is loud, but my other one was as well, so that means little to me..

I recommend this machine, the recipes are good, and the resulting bread is great!!!

  • This is definitely a great machine with an excellent recipe book.
Some of the negative reviews that I read on this were totally not an issue- there is no flour in the corners, it never burns and it never smokes. Definitely try it out, for the money it is the best deal as the next best machine costs twice as much.

    I recommend this product.

  • It is difficult for me to coment I brought one of these two weeks ago and after 2 loaves it broke! something happened with the conection inside to the paddle. However the two loaves we had were extremly good,I have had a bread maker for 10 years+[ a few in that time] because none of them lasted more than three years. But my family all said this was the best one! So as I wait for a replacement I am confident that we will love this one the best.

  • I have made 3 loaves so far. The first came out heavy. I
attributed to having too much flour. Four cups was way
too much even though I made a 2 lb. loaf. The second,
was with the fast rising yeast. It was sort of grainy and
hard. The third was perfect. I cut the flour, used honey
in lieu of sugar and baked a 1 1/2 lb. loaf with a light
crust. It was almost perfect. Nice and soft. Good
texture and tastes great. I'm not sure I like the convection
baking, but I am working on it and the 3rd loaf was excellent.

    I recommend this product.

  • Until now I've been quite pleased with the Cuisinart bread maker and for what I was able to accomplish with it. It has features that are simple and easy to use that allow you to prepare things in a snap. I'm always looking forward to what will be the next thing I want to do with it. I definitely think this is a nice piece of cookware to have in the kitchen for any occasion.

  • Makes absolutely wonderful bread. Only criticism is that it's advertised as a horizontal loaf pan -- it's really sort of in between -- 2 lb loaves are too tall for the toaster. 1 1/2 lb loaves are perfect size for the toaster. All in all, very pleased. Love the different menu options.

    I recommend this product.
