French Roast is not for the timid. The hardiest of Latin American coffees withstand our darkest roast - an intensity which would burn less rugged beans. Blunt, smoky flavors are the objective of the roasting process and there's only a slight, residual acidity. Although it's a powerful blend, the body is light.

Taste French Roast beside Espresso Roast. You may discover and uncover many tastes in the Espresso and the Italian you did not realize were there when tasting them alone. French Roast is about pleasing the palates of those who enjoy the deepest, darkest, smokiest flavor.

French Roast is a combination of select Latin American beans. These beans are strong and hearty, standing up to a roast that would cause many lesser coffees to go up in flames.

People often assume that darker means fuller body. Not true! People also assume that French Roast has either more or less caffeine due to its roast, which is also untrue.

French Roast is great for dark roast die-hards, someone looking for a change, or as an interesting component to a do-it-yourself blend.

Finding and purchasing the best green beans in the world is the first step that differentiates Starbucks Coffee from the rest of the coffee industry. Starbucks is well-known for its exceptionally high quality coffees, care in selection, and expertise in roast. Each coffee is selected for the defining qualities that distinguish its origin. This careful selection process illustrates Starbucks passion for buying and roasting the world's best coffee.

This is my Sister's Favorite Brand Of Coffee, I shipped it to her as a gift, which made her very happy...She then asked me whom I got this coffee from...then after hearing the coffee was from Cooking .com, She then ordered some coffee and sent it as a gift to her Mother-Inlaw. You see this gift idea is one which works for many on your list.

It should be less costly to by from the source than it is to purchase at a retail establishment.

I bought this as a gift. My friend loved it. I'm not sure it was a great value, though. But it beats me running to the store, purchasing it and mailing it.

Coffee Quality

Not for the timid. Although I own a French press (which most afficionados is necessary for the best flavor), a cup of espresso made with French roast coffee will provide a sufficient boost for anyone. Strong & slightly acidic, I prefer this with a flavored creamer (i.e., French Vanilla).

Star Bucks beans are oiley

I like bold coffee, and starbucks beans make a bold coffee. The beans have an oil on them that makes them stick together, and they pour out of the bag in chunks. The grinder has no problem grinding, but it is a chore to measure the correct amount without breaking the clumps.
