Sumatra is one of the largest islands of Indonesia, a country comprised of several thousand islands stretching along the equator from Malaysia to Papua New Guinea in Southeast Asia. Ninety percent of the coffee grown in Indonesia comes from small, independent farms. Because the value of coffee is high, farmers grow this crop close to home, often in the backyard. After harvest, the farmer takes the coffee to the nearest milling co-op. Here it is combined with coffee from other small farms and sold. Eleven million people depend on coffee for their livelihood in Indonesia.
Most of the coffee grown in Indonesia is robusta. Therefore, the search for the arabica coffee that is ultimately used in Sumatra is arduous, challenging and always an adventure.

Everything I get from Cooking.com is well priced and arrives quickly. I get my Starbucks Coffee by the 2 pound bag rather than getting it a higher price directly from a Starbucks location. This way, we can grind it ourselves and it stays fresh longer. Who needs to spend $3.50 a day on a latte and stand in line?
I also added to my flatware pattern at 1/2 off - I got it in 3 days from California to Florida without spending extra on shipping. I love shopping at Cooking.com.
The best Extra bold coffee

My husband loves extra bold coffee and so do I so this is our go to coffee for that. We brew this in the mornings at home and it's perfect breakfast coffee for coffee lovers who love strong coffee. Highly recommend.
