description slightly off...

I actually haven't used this pot yet, but I can tell it is a high quality piece and I like the see-thru lid. My problem is that I was looking for a pot this size that was induction ready, which the description confirmed, yet when I received it, it did not have the induction symbol on the bottom, nor passed the magnet test for induction use. Since my son needed a few standard pieces of cookware for his college apt. I gave him my old comparable stainless pot and kept this so I wouldn't have to do a return. I'm sure it will serve its purpose, but had my heart set on a pot for induction cooking use.

I was looking for a light weight pan set to buy and thought I'd try with this one item first. I am extremely pleased with the weight and the high quality of this pan, and will now buy more of this product.

Everything Pot

I am exceptionaly pleased with my mulit pot...Yes, multi-purpose...I am so delighted with it...It cleans very well and it stores nicely. I like it so much that I am going to purchase another one for spare to do my stock, soups, chili, and mulit task.

Subsequent to purchasing two (2) Cuisinart cooking pans at your website, I found the same item at Belk Stores for $24.95.(This is about $17.00 dollars per pan cheaper! I'm sorry I didn't wait to buy it locally!!

Great All Purpose Pot

I Use This To Replace A Taller Dutch Oven; That Won't Fit In The Fridge. It Works Great.
