10 inches is not 10 inches

I have just sent the lid back because although my pan measures exactly 10", this lid for a 10" pan does not fit it. The lid looked like a fine one, but if it doesn't fit, it doesn't work.

This lid fits the 10 inch Calphalon Contemporary non stick omelet pan perfectly......easy to wash, both in dishwasher and by hand.......and it is great to be able to see what you are cooking without having to lift the lid....highly recommend.

needed a lid

i needed a lid for the 12" rachael ray skillet . had no luck finding one locally, so when i saw thois.. i ordered immediatly.
mostly fits and am happy to have a lid instead of aluminum foil.

Calphalon lid

it fits all my 12" Calphalon, as well as other 12" pots and pans that I have. It has a good weight, and seals nicely. Of course, since it is a glass lid, I can check on my food while it's cooking without lifting the lid.

This is a superbly made heavy glass lid that fits my 12" skillets snugly, for about half the price quoted everywhere else. I'm very happy I thought to check your site before ordering from one of the others! From now on, I'm coming to you first.

12-in. Glass Lid by Calphalon

I had recently ordered a 12" grill pan by Calphalon and so I assumed that this 12" lid would fit that pan but all it does is sit on top of it and let the steam and splatter go every where still. The product itself was what I had ordered but it just wasn't for the pan I hoped that it would fit.

Lid does not fit skillet

I ordered the 12" skillet and the 12" glass lid. The lid does not fit the skillet. It is slightly larger than the skillet and so has to be balanced on top of the skillet rather than fit snugly. I was very disappointed.

The entire pot ensemble is a wonderful product. The problem with the lid had more to do with my cat then the product itself. When the cat was finished climbing onto the counter I needed a new lid. When ordered,I was told up to 3 weeks for delivery. Apparently that was a mistake because it was more like 3 days. I appreciated that the error was in my favor, a rare opportunity in this day.

I assumed that a ten inch cover would fit on a 10" fry pan...but it does not. Apparently Calphalon has specific covers for specified pans...but they do not specity them as such when you order.

great versatility

When I ordered the 2 pans that these lids fit last year, the lids weren't available, so I was excited to complete the package. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that not only are they a perfect fit for the Calphalon pans that I ordered last year, but the lids also perfectly fit my trusty old stand- by Revereware. Great bonus! Shipping was flawless as usual, and I'll continue to rely on Cooking.com as a great resource for my kitchen!

The fact that you can see what you are cooking is a real help.
I wouldn't go back to non see thru lids ever. It also helps when I ask my family members what's happening in the pan.
