These seem sturdy enough to work well. I have not yet used mine, but my son-in-law uses an identical set when smoking large pieces of meat and he is pleased with them.

The forkes (meat lifters) were the best I have ever used. I am 71 and have been cooking thanksgiving dinner for a few years. I was able to lift the turkey out of the roaster in one move.

I could hardly wait for my turkey to thaw so I could cook it and use the forks to remove it from my roasting pan! I wish I had found them years ago. I am planning on ordering them for my aunt and best friend soon. Thanks cooking.com for a great product!
