I especially love the smaller one. These are sturdy yet flexible enough
to cut chucks of cheese or frozen items...

A super set for the price!

Great for the Price

I purchased this set to replace the knives in my old $19.99 kitchen set! They are definitely a great purchase for beginning chefs, such as myself. However, they could stand to be a little sharper. As I start to do more cooking, I will definitely buy a better set.

Best knives I ever owned!!!!!

I ordered these knives for my birthday. I love them, one of the best presents I ever bought myself. Liked them so much I bought a set for my mom and she loves them too. Even my husband, who hates to cook likes to use these.

works but not the sharpest knife in the drawe

I received these knives knowing that for price I would not get a top quality knife but they seem very dull and bulky even for the price. They do work and will cut just not as quick as I would like.

I orignally purchased this set as a gift to my wife. It has become the most used knife set in the kitchen, replacing the chef knife and many other knives for almost all our cutting needs. Highly recommended.

I use my Santoku: for all my meats, cheese, and vegtables for my stir fries.
They of very good quality a must have for any kitchen. I buy large pieces of
meat and cut it down into special cuts, these knives make this so easy, and fast.

I thought these knives would have been a little more heavy on the blades. One of the knives has a very sharp place on the top of the knive (I do not think it was intended to be part of the blade) They do not have a good weight when useing.Overall for the price they will due. Glad I did not have to pay full price for these, I would have sent them back for sure. But I do like the handles, and have had this brand before, so I feel confident they will last. Thanks. :)

I love these! I use them every day; they are now my favorite knives. Great price for the set. Very sharp, fit well in my hand, not heavy or awkward.

I like having 2 different size knives. I usually prefer a shorter knife which is not always easy to find. I now have one and a longer one to use with bigger pieces of fruit/vegetable or meat. I wouldnt mind getting another set of knives to keep as spares.

I was always told by my Mom that you should try to buy a great quality in pots and knives. These knives are great for the price. I use them for just about all of my chopping. I would recommend these to everyone.

too good to be true

i expect quality from Henckels and these knives are no exception. however, i suspect that these knives are not Henckels top quality knives. how could they be at the price?
i don't know how the advertising should be worded, but i think it should indicate somehow (eg: these knives are from our "good quality" production as opposed to our "highest quality") that there is a difference, if my presumtion is correct, of course.
will you let me know, one way or the other?

Great set!!

I received these as a gift and loved them. These knives fit the hand well and has exceptional balance. They arrived sharp and slice with perfection. These knives make any cutting job a breeze. My only regret is that I did not get more of these great knives. Do yourself a favor and give these knives a try, you will be glad you did.
