Better than sliced bread! Way better.

    by Beth, NV
    July 20, 2011

Once I got the rhythm, I hulled a bowl of berries in record time.
The technique is best when you don't push the stem remover all the way into the berry. Just part way.

That way you don't lose too much fruit with the hull.
    Super gadget.

    Better than my old one

    by Beth, NV

This is called a strawberry slicer, but it also works great for mushrooms. Also hard-boiled eggs.
And more that I haven't thought of yet.

    Sweet Indulgence

    by Christine, IL
    August 1, 2011

I know it's probably self-indulgent, but this little puppy works as advertised to remove strawberry hulls - a paring knife does the job, but this small gimmick makes it quick, clean and fun! I also tried it on a tomato and the results were great - insert it around the stem, give it a twist and - voila!! - out it comes, clean as a whistle. Even my husband was impressed!! I'm seriously considering giving it as a Christmas grab bag gift. [Also would love to see people scratching their heads at the estate sale, after I'm gone, trying to figure out what it is and what it does!! ; ) ]

    Slicer & huler

    by Betty, MO
    December 30, 2011

Love the huler, the slicer is hard to use on strawberries that are not quite ripe, I hope it is better when riper strawberries come in

    Awesome

I loved the one I bought a few months ago that I had to buy one for my mom! Once you get the hang of it, the slicer is very simple to use. Tip: watch your hold, sometimes it will pinch your skin.

Arrived in timely manner. Good quality product. I really haven't been able to use it much as the kids took over and stemmed and sliced happily!

    Holy Strawberry Slicer, Batman!!!

    by Drew, CA
    April 22, 2013

Whew! This is the most gimmicky looking product EVER!!!! But don't let it's plasticy good looks distract you. BOTH of these products are fantastic. As you push the green button on the huller, it's little metal cone end opens up to show its fangs and you plunge it into the helpless strawberry and WHAMO, that berry is clean and ready to slice. Then you pop those naked berries into the maw of the slicer and squeeze. Sliced, lickety split. I can do three baskets of berries in just minutes, without breaking a sweat. BUY THIS TODAY!!!
