The Kulinary Series knives are each manufactured with one solid piece of high-carbon German steel (X50CrMoV15) and heat-treated to stay sharp longer. The high HRC (Rockwell hardness scale) of 56 allows the edge to maintain sharpness with less maintenance. The blade is seamlessly molded to the composite handle with a unique partially exposed full tang and finished with a solid polished star and end cap. It is precision balanced for it's task.

Bought the 2nd set as a gift for my daughters boyfriend. He was jealous when he saw the knives and expressed a desire for the chefs knife. Since it was still on sale I put it away for Christmas.

I love these knives! I've used the knives on all preps for our meals. They are sharp, well balanced, and easy to use. I have used them on every type of foods, meat,veggies, fruits just anything I can think to cut, slice, or chop up. I really love them..

I bought this knife because I like the angle of the blade. I couldn't afford the premium knife, so I went with this set. They are sharp right out of the box, and have a great weight, and balance. I am a professional cook and use it every day. I actually just bought another one because I work in two different kitchens and wanted to use this knife in both my jobs. I would recommend this knife.
