These tongs are darn good except for one design flaw -- when you're using them the little button that holds them closed slides down and holds them closed when you want them to be able to open and close repeatedly as you fish tasty items out of your non-stick pan.

Like the heat-resistant tips and handles but the locking pin on the large set is too loose and the tongs continually lock while in use if held so the locking pin can slide vertically.

These tongs are great! Having 2 sizes is wonderful and they come in so handy for lots of things. They are easy to store with the locking mechanism to keep them closed, they open wide enough to grab alot of food at one time is needed. They can be used when cooking in a non-stick pan without scratching it. I am very happy with these tongs.

I have used my tongs for a few months and I really enjoy them. They are used heavily at my house so I am suprised to see that they are holding up well. We will revisit this review in a few months and I hope to brag about them again.

I absolutely love the locking feature of these tongs. This feature gives you the option of storing them in a drawer and not getting tangled up with other items. It also gives you the option of hanging them, which is my choice. The coating allows you to use in coated cookware without scratching. Thank You Rachael !

Order these with the Silicone Tongs by Messermeister and the Norpro just don't measure up, primarily due to the tips are just not up to the qualityof the Messermeister.

coated so you don't worry about non stick surfaces. you can't see it in the pictures, but there is a hanging loop on the end of them that doubles as a lock to keep them shut for storage. way more convenient than a metal loop that slides around. i ordered another set after i used this one once.
