Finally!

Love this pie maker set! So superior to the electric one that I returned after fighting with it one time too many. This one makes a lovely pot pie easily. Very pleased with this!

I love these little pies!

They are such fun to make. And for the impatient, they cook faster and cool faster so you get to enjoy them sooner than traditional pies. I find that my customary pie crust and 1 quart of home canned pie filling ( like mincemeat ) will make 8 pies so each is equivalent to an ordinary slice of pie. I have made mincemeat, blueberry, pumpkin, apple and chicken pot pies so far and I have had them for a month! My daughter has ordered a set for herself after having a little pie here.

While the concept is great, it was very difficult to remove the pies from the tins. If the sides were straight instead of fluted it might be easier.Individual tart pans maybe better.
