The taco fluted pans were replacements for ones I had owned for years. They were lost after the inside of our house was destroyed by Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne last September. I had been looking for them in all the stores since then with no success. Suddenly it came to me to get on the computer, and I found your site. We have had taco salads twice since they arrived!! Would you like my recipe??

These pans make the perfect Tortilla Bowl for salads, etc. Spray pans lightly with cooking spray. Press flour tortilla into pan (room temp tortilla works best). Bake at 350 until golden brown (doesn't take long). Remove from pan and allow to rest a minute. Fill with salad items and enjoy!

I have an Advantium oven that cooks on demand with Halogen light & in 4 minutes I have nice crispy tortilla bowls to serve my Nacho Taco Salad to my customers here @ JJ's Snack Shack (see the Face Book FAN page if you are interested) in Rockport, Maine. The one thing I do a little different from the directions provided with the pans is apply veg. oil spray to both the inside of the pans & inside of the tortilla & it crisps up just like it was deep fried but without all the extra fat! I love these pans!!!

THIS PRODUCT IS EASY TO USE AND CLEAN-UP IS A BREEZE. I HAD TO ORDER ANOTHER SET FOR A FRIEND. THE PANS CAN BE USED FOR MORE THAN JUST TACO BOWLS WHICH IS A PLUS IF YOU ENJOY COOKING.

This is a great way to bring healthy to your table !! I use the spinach herb wraps and they fit perfect. Nice cruncy, light taste. This "tortilla" bowl works great for any kind of salad that fits your taste, taco salad, chef salad, chicken salad, and you can eat the bowl after !!! Great price and so easy to use. One light spray of Pam Olive Oil, and you can use it for 2 separate cookings. Great bowls to serve chips in too, (if serving salsa & chips) and they look impressive.

I purchased the Fluted Tortilla and Taco Pans - I must admit I was a little scepticle however they turned out to be one of the best purchases I have ever made.... not to mention I received them in just a few days after ordering... which was a pleasant surprize...
Used them immediately... I microwaved the burrito size tortilla wraps for approx. 30 sec.then brushed them with oil - placed them in the pans and baked them - they turned out just like the taco salad shells in restaurants... you must try these amazing pans...

What a Hit!!

This was the second set I have bought, we were visiting my aunt in Florida and I had brought my set with me and served taco salad to my cousin and his wife....everyone liked them so much I sent her a set....we put out all the ingredients for the salad and let everyone load them up themselves. Delicious shell, we use a knife to spread the refried beans on the shell and that makes it all the more tasty! For those on a diet, we use the whole grain tortillas or low carb ones. I love this product!

These work great! The shells look like they game from a Mexican restaurant without all the fat. I found if you prick the bottom of the tortilla before baking you won't get air bubbles that ruin the shape.

Taco Salad without the fat!

I love taco salad, but the fried shell was something I thought I had to give up while watching my fat intake. I LOVE these pans. A taco salad is less than 30 min away from start to finish. A light spray of cooking spray and the shells only take 10 min. The taco salad I love without the fat and calories!

Best investment. My family loves tacos and having a taco salad is even better. If you put the lettuce on the bottom before the filling, you can go for seconds before eating the bowl. I am thinking of using crescent roll or phyillo dough for a desert shell.

it only take about 10 min to bake and you add all the things you like for a great taco salad.
you add more beef and less lettuce and all the taste to want.

I have enjoyed using these pans to produce a healthy taco shell for several years. Recently my sister told me how much she paid for commercially prepared shells. I immediately sent her the pans and now she too is overjoyed by the ease of use and quality of the low fat shell they produce.

Have only used one of the pans once, since my oven is broken, but it worked great in my countertop oven. I've never used one before, but love taco salads, so wanted to try it. I'm gluten-intolerant, so can't use flour tortillas. Used corn tortillas, and it worked fine. Easy to clean.
