I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the knives considering the low price. I make a lot of oriental dishes and the knives are really wonderful for getting things chopped and sliced in a hurry.

Great all around knives

I love kitchen knives. I am sure I use them when a smaller knife would make more sense but I just love the way they cut and they way they feel in my hand. I love the weight, everything.

Knife set.

Could Have Been Better

I do like the knives that I purchased from The Food Network. Although ,when I received the package I tried to open it and this gray dust exploded all over my house. You might want to reconsider your packing materials. The knives are great except they are not very sharp. I was trying to cut a tomato last night and the knife just crushed the tomato. I know that the knives have to be sharpened every once and a while ,but they cold have arrived sharp. Overall, I feel that the quality could have been better for "The Food Network".

Great knife but dull.

The appearance of this knife set is great. But finnally you have to pick them up to use them, then the truth comes out. They will cut lettuce and cucumbers, but tomatoes are a real challenge for them. I would not rebuy them.

the knives that I've bought from the food channel before have been excellent, really sharp, but the ones that I've bought from the Rachel Ray line and now these from Paula Deen are not sharp at all, therefore, I returned them.

Knives not as sharp as I expected. Weight is a little hard to handle, plus they will have to be sharpened often. For the money they are just OK. Next time I will opt for a better product.

These are the best knives I have ever had. I highly recommend these to beginners or experienced cooks. I would definitely buy these again. They are an excellent buy for the price.

WAS NOT IMPRESSED. I REALLY THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE SHARPER. I WAS TRYING TO CUT COOKED CHICKEN AND I REALLY HAD TO PUT ALOT OF EFFORT INTO IT. MY OLD KNIVES CUT BETTER.

Great Knife

I have a similar knife to this set, but larger and made by Wusthof. It's a great knife so I thought these two knives would be a good addition. These knives are wonderful!! They feel great in the hand, evenly balanced and solid. They feel heavier than the Wusthof knife I already owned. The price was very good for the quality. Would definitely recommend these knives to a friend.

I love my Santoku Knife set. I use them all the time. They are very sharp and cut great. All the products that I have bought of Paula Deens have been great and have recommended all of them to friends. I have not wasted my money on any of the products.

Santoku Knife

This knife was not of any better quality than I could've gotten at Walmart, in my opinion. Think I just paid for the name. Plus, made in China also.

Very strong nife.

I´m so happy with this set, they are very heavy enough to easy cutting any fruit, or meat with a little presure. My wife use them with no problem. I expected no sharpen needed, but I was wrong, now I hope need of sharpening won´t be so frecuent.
