    More bang for your buck

    by Shellia, MI

This set of knives, for the price, is what you're looking for. I recently bought 2 sets of knives, this one and one other. The other set is tauted as being easy to handle, good for the wrist(ergonomically proper),and sharp. This set struck out on all counts. So for 3 others and myself, who tried both sets at my behest, the first set was not as ergonomically correct or as sharp as we expected. We were, however, pleased with this set of knives. The 5 in. santoku was in our opinion the best. The sharpness was outstanding, as was the hold of the knife. The larger of the 2 was less comfortable but was still easier on the wrist than was the ergonomically correct knife and was sharp. As for being the best bang for the buck, this set was $24.95, the other set $77.00(and this set was on sale), nuff said!

    Paula Deen Santoku Knives

We love our Paula Deen Santoku Knives that we recently purchased. They are so balanced that they feel good in your hand and they make chopping a breeze. The edges are sharp and they don't get dull quickly like some others we have had. Luv 'em, Luv 'em.

We do a lot of entertaining and they are such time savers. I use them for every cutting job. AND, the price was just right. We have paid more than twice the price in the past for one knife only that didn't last very long.

The blades are not hard enough to hold an edge I had to sharpen the blade after one use, really not pleased with the product, would not recommend this product to anyone.

These knifes were beyond my imagination of what I thought I was getting. First of all I didn't expect too much because the price was so cheap compared to other food net-work Chef knives. These knives are sharp, heavy but not too heavy and beautiful. I really enjoy using them and look for something to cut up every day when I cook. I couldn't be more pleased!

Nice weight and feel. Knives are sharp and are a great valve for the price(in my case about $35.00 including shipping). I will recommend these knives for every day use with meat and veggies.

Good Quality Product for the price. Fast shipping. Couldn't ask for anything better than ordering online and being able to stay in my home and not have to go outside in our 103 degree weather. Buying these for Christmas for the men in my family that like to cook.

bought these for my wife so she could have he own knives. They feel more durable and heavier than mine.

I needed her to stop using my chef knives as she tended to leave them around and not care for them. These are perfect as a smaller tall bladed knife.

Besides the 2 pc. set I purchased from the Food Network I also have a 7" Calphalon. As a matter of fact this one is a relacement as the first one was sent back. This is a replacement. All I can say about the Calphalon is that it won't cut through melted butter. I am very pleased as to how well the 2 Paula Dean models perform.
