Oven Usage

When I looked at the ad it indicated the pans were safe in oven at any temperature. When the pans arrived, the instructions indicated they were safe up to 400. Although this was a little dissapointing, the pans cook beautifully.

Pretty Shiny and Cooks Great

Very well made heavy duty stainless pans. I have used them a few times already and they heat evenly and cooks very evenly. The handles stay cool and the padding on the bottom of the handles is something I noticed but never thought I would. Cleans up very well.
The old saying you get what you pay for applies and getting a good deal on the set makes it better.

Very sleek and sturdy omelette pans that make all the difference in cooking a really good omelette. Very easy to clean and very nice looking pans. Glad I bought them.

Great Skillets

I've been wanting to switch to stainless steel cookware since we remodeled our kitchen and installed a gas stove. I purchased a good stainless stock pot for soup, first. Next came the Calphalon 2-pc omlette pan set.
I love it. If you use it properly, it is better than non-stick. The food will tell you when you can turn it. If you listen, nothing sticks. Its great. I want an entire set.

Not very useful on a gas stove.

I wish I had purchased non stick, because no matter how hot or cold the pan, or the amount of oil used, the eggs stick to the bottom.

Stainless Steel vs non-stick pans

They cook well and retain the heat. Depending on the oil used, sometimes very difficult to clean. However, overall glad I purchased them.

Always wanted these...

Had always wanted this set of excellent omlette pans but kept putting off acquiring them for one silly reason or another (likely budgetary) but when they went on sale for this price... I had no excuse. Excelllent for more than omlettes... as in quesadillas, crepes, stir-fry, quick sautes... they heat quickly and evenly and are a snap to clean. Love 'em.

Calphalon Omelette pans

I am very pleased with both of the pans. They cook evenly and clean up very easy. I am using the pans at least 3 times a week for breakfast. Again I am very pleased with this product. Thank you.

Love those pans. They are hard to find because everything is nonstick now. Great handles too.
The price was also very good. And I know I won't have them very long because the married offspring have been eyeing them, but I shall give only one away.

As long as you put enough cooking spray or butter...this pan makes perfect omelettes...as well as bacon and other ways to make eggs!

I would buy this product again

I was looking for a replacment for some non-stick Calphalon of the same size. I am very pleased with the weight and heat distribution on these pans- in fact we found it was easier to carmelize or brown in these than the non-stick equivalent! The only challenge we encountered was that the appearance coming out of the dishwasher did not look clean- even though it was. A quick swipe with a Magic Eraser scouring pad, rinse and dry, and the pans look as good as when we took them out of the box!

I happened to get these at a great price but even if I hadn't I would still think of these as a good value. Nice solid heft, the stainless steel is a good thickness. I've bought less expensive stainless in the past and found that the stainless overlay is not thick and quickly becomes pitted. These are a joy to use, easy to clean, and the heat spreads evenly. Liked them so much I bought a set for my chef son and he loves them, too.
