I got these knives on sale, and they were definitely worth the sale price. They are good knives that have a solid feel to them. Overall quality is good, but not great. I have a feeling that I will keep these knives and use them regularly, but they aren't my go-to knives. Again, good knives if they are on sale (I think I paid $20), but I wouldn't get them at full price.

Got this pair for a steal! The handles are thick and heavy and comfortable to hold. I like how they feel weighty and sturdy while I'm cutting and dicing.

When good cutlery seems to be way out of the reach for a lot of cooks this set fills the bill for all but the most demanding cutting chores. Never put these knives in the dishwasher as that is the fastest way to dull them or any good smooth bladed knife. A regular sharpening with a good steel and you will have years of service. Excellent gift idea!
