I use a brine about once or twice a week, this spice apple brine is one of the best I have used or made, well packaged and sells at a decent price.

First time using a brine. We deep fried the turkey it came out very juicy and tender. only real setback, very salty, really could not taste any of the other spices, like the apple. Will use again.

I have been using a brine on my turkeys for several years now. I started when I saw a show with Alton Brown showing how and I have been using his recipe for a while. When I saw this one on sale I decided to try it. It is easier because I do not have to get all the separate ingredients and it is very good. I like it as much as the one that I was using. I think I will try the second one on a pork roast. I hope it comes out as good as the turkey did. Everyone that came really loved it and said how moist it was. Keep up the great work on your show. PS I love your cooking star show very much but was VERY dissappointed in the one that was picked this year. The second place winner would have been a MUCH better choice.
