I tried it one evening last week Sweet potato chips,
mango chips, potato chips. The Mango chips were
burned after the 6 mins. the sweet potato chips didn't taste good. The potato chips were OK - but not
anything special.

It works exactly as advertised once I adjusted the cooking time to the power of my microwave. I've recommended the product to several friends who, like me, are trying to keep a low fat lifestyle.
In order to get any seasoning to stick to the chips, apply it to the raw potato.

The concept is good, but I wasn't happy with the product. The slices were too thin, and the end product was not as I expected.

The slicer if a little lacking and hard to use. (to small) The cooking times given are not right on, to the food. Added time has to be added. The size of the tray is to limited for the number of pieces. But is does work with a little trial and error. Not as crisp are a real chip.

This is a great way to make delicious chips without frying and added calories. My microwave has lower wattage than noted on the instruction sheet so it takes almost twice as long to get the chips crispy. I would definitely recommend getting more trays to cut down on the cooking time.
Have tried white potatoes, sweet potatoes and apples. The sweet potatoes definitely were superior in flavor and texture. Can't wait to try more fruits and veggies!

great for potatoe chips and apple chips just make sure food is dried on paper towels throughly cooks best then !!!

The Top Ships Maker and it's component parts are very nice and easy to work with. My only complaint was the chips were not "crunchy" I left them overnight and it was much better. Will try it again with a different type of potato, I used a russet.

I love this micro wave chip maker it is the best thing ever invented i use it for a snack and for breakfast and sometimes a treat for my grand kids it is quick and esy fast clean up there is nothing better thank you so much i love love it

Easier to use than I anticipated and the chips came out very tasty. I found that the "drier" the potato is, the better it cooks.

Although the chips maker does everything as advertised and I was not disappointed in the results, the chips are just not as good as fried chips. Given that I recently had a stent put into my heart artery I guess I shouldn't complain too much. Overall a pretty good product and a good price.

This works wonderful! I think you need to adjust the cooking time to your own microwave. It took me a couple of time to get the right timing so all the chips were crispy, instead of just some. I think it is a great alternative to baking in the oven. Chips taste great and are very crispy.

I'm thrilled with this product! It really works! I can make crisp homemade chips in about 3 minutes. I bought two and that doesn't seem to change the cooking time when you stack them. Both trays were perfectly cooked.
