Steaks taste like they came right off the grill. Fantastic !!!!!

AWESOME GRILL PAN

The pan is of high quality as one would expect from the brand. Getting it on sale made it even more attractive. The initial "curing" with the vegetable oil was simple enough. Cooking steaks inside during the northeast winter is a delight and cleaning the pan after use is a snap.

Great Grill Pan!

This 13" grill pan works as good as it's advertised - the new non-stick coating cleans up easily and still does a great job with grill marks! Pre-heating on a low to medium burner setting is important to heat the pan evenly and not have hot and cold spots. Cooks with no smoke so I don't mind grilling with this Calphalon grill pan. Would recommend pan to others without hesitation.

A yen for grill marks

I cook for a family of 2 seniors, with decreased food capacities. Many meals are chops, steaks, other fast cook meats cooked on stove top. I dearly wamted to see grill marks on my meat. This has been the solution. I do get a little smoke cooking portions for 2, but the fent fan takes care of that. The pan is large enough that I can add vegies and have a really pretty meal. Clan-up is a breaze!

great surface but pan warps

The nonstick surface is excellent, but the pan is relatively light and thin such that it will warp when heated. This is a problem for, e.g. glass cooktops, because it means that the bottom of the pan is not evenly heated. I've only used the pan to cook meats, but I imagine that the warping could also be a problem when cooking runny foods like pancakes.

I HAVEN'T CLEANED IT IN THE DISWASHER YET, BUT THE PAN IS EVERYTHING THAT IT IS CLAIMED TO BE.THE HEAT IS CONDUCTED EVENLY, CLEANS EASILY. LOVE IT.

I just love my nonstick round grill pan. I have used it to cook bacon & sausage. I'm in Weight Watchers so I'm watching my fat intake & this pan is just the thing. Since I live alone & I don't cook very often for many people, this size is good & I don't have to use the heavy stove top grill/griddle. This pan cleans up great. Would recommend this to everyone who has a fat restricted diet. Love it for chops too. Marlene

Love it! Easy to clean, and lightweight. I own a large selection of cast iron (including a grill pan) but it was impossible to clean in the grooves. This is a snap. Would recommend it to everyone!!

Glad I Bought the Grill Pan...

I have purchased several "grill pans" and this is the first one that did not smoke me out of the kitchen, allowed me to cook meats and vegetables with out them sticking, and is easy to clean - looks like new each time. I also like the fact that it is lightweight and easy to store. And it was a great price to boot!!

Greatest Grill Pan Ever

I have used and replaced a couple of grill pans over the years and this one is the best I have had. It is light and cleans up so nice with a little soap, hot water and a paper towel. The size is good and the cooking is even.

Really does sear

This pan really does what it claims to do. It does sear. So far I really like the way it cleans up too. I have an older version of this pan and the clean up was always an issue. I love the handle on this version. I am a petite person and sometimes the handles seem to put me out of balance or in an awkward position but this one is great. Heats up fast.

Better than best.

This was purchased as a replacement for a like kind pan, but there is no comparison. It requires very little oil to cook to perfection. I no longer worry about the coating coming off the pan while in use or cleaning. My husband loves the finished product, whether it is fish, chicken or whatever.

Great Product!

I would highly recommend this Calphalon product to anyone. The sides are a bit higher than a normal griddle, and the large cooking surface is a real plus. This round griddle is a joy to use...The food slides out with no effort and cleanup is a breeze. The fact that this product can be placed in a dishwasher is a real bonus. I have enjoyed using it in the short time I've had it and look forward to many years of great service from this product.

IV'E COOKED SEVERAL DIFFERENT THINGS WITH THIS FRYPAN, FROM EGGS TO STEAKS, SAUTED ONIONS AND MADE HOME FRIES EVEN PANCAKES EVERYTHING TURNS OUT GREAT. VERY EVEN HEAT DISTRIBUTION. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT.

Calphalon nonstick round griddle.

I have had a 'crush' on this for some time, then I found it here for a MUCH lower price than I saw in stores. This is the non-stick that can go in the dishwasher, but because it is such a great quality nonstick, with my typical pre-dishwasher wash-up, it cleans up so thoroughly it doesn't need to go in the dishwasher.

Excellent pan

I trust Calphalon and felt it would be a good buy. I have been very impressed with this pan. We use cast iron for our burgers when we can't grill due to weather. This pan far surpasses the cast iron we have been using. It's light weight, the excess fat stays in the pan not in the meat and it cleans like a dream. It is dishwasher safe but it takes so little effort to clean by hand, I save the space in the dishwasher for harder to clean items. I LOVE this pan!!
