Love these pans!

I wanted to purchase these pans for awhile and was waiting for a possible sale. Calphalon was offering the 2 for $59.95 and I ordered them right away. The 8" alone was $99 without the promotion - so I feel I got a bargain. I have used both pans a number of times making omelets, sauces, bar-b-que and reubens. Perfect! I followed the directions making sure the pan was pre-heated and that the food sat out for about 10 min before adding to the pan. I have made omelets in other calphapan pans and they sometimes stick. Nothing sticks in these pans. Food just slides out! Clean up is a breeze. Also, you don't need hardly any oil. I bought an oil mister where I can add my own olive or veg oil. I bought a set of simply calpalon pans about 10 years ago and these pans will replace those. I have recommended the calphalon unison product line to a number of people. Very happy with my purchase!

Excellent Pan Set

I purchased this pan set with introductory product pricing directly from Calphalon. I am extremely impressed with the weight and cooking surface. Truly a quality product. I was sufficiently impressed with the product, I bought a second set as a wedding present.

Purchased separately at aretail store they would total well over $200. I payed $57 on line why such a disparity

Great deal!

I love calphalon products. I really enjoy cooking on my new pan set. I love omelets with lots of cheese, and they slide off so easily. Easy to cook on, and easy to clean. After a long day at work, I need something that I can use without having to spend so much time prepping or cleaning. Love it!

Awesome Pans

Best for the price

If you looking for budget non-stick skillets... Take this one. You can not miss. 2 skillets for the price of 1 and as always great Calphalon quality.

Omelette pans

Love these pans! nothing sticks and they brown beautifully. AND I can put them in the dishwasher---what's not to love? Plan to acquire the entire line. Next piece is 12" w/lid.

Excellent Value for the product

Calaphon is offering a very good discount on its non-stick omelet pans purchased as a set. I saw these pans at Williams-Sonoma for about $20 more than the price advertised at the Food Network Store. We received the pans in excellent condition, the shipping box was filled with lots of packing material to protect them during shipment. The pans are very well made and appear to be up to the Calaphon standard. We are using them almost everyday and hope to get a lot of use from them.

Great Nonstick

Recently bought the 8" & 10" pair.
Both are heavy-weight aluminum, so allow more time to preheat.
Great non-stick properties.
The 8" is the perfect crepe pan as a crepe slides right out.
Cleanup is a snap-and made in USA !

Great pans that are heavy duty.I really haven't tried some of my usual cooking just eggs but so far so good.They are heavy which I didn't expect.

Disappointed that 10" was smaller than previous 10".

Good pans

These pans are very good. Food just slides right out and clean up is easy, except around the rivets. The rivets are not non-stick and there is a small gap between the pan and the rivet making it very difficult to clean on and around them. It would have been nice if the rivets were also non-stick. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5-stars (*****). One other thing...the 10" pan has a small defect in the center, but I figured since it has a lifetime warranty I would wait and see if it peels. If so, then I'll send it in for a replacement.

One of the skillets came in scratched.

Okay, there was a scratch on the coating. Well I paid for new and it's not supposed to have a scratch on the non-stick surface. I am not going through the hassle of sending it back. So far so good.

I expected the order would be great. It was.

Nice pans

Very happy with this purchase. Even heat; easy cleanup.

Restaurant quality

these pans are the best! They are a little sensitive to metal utensils, so make sure you have plastic, silicon or wood when working with these. You can even do the "restaurant flip" and no food is stuck to the pan!

Great pans, but...

substantial surface irregularities make me concerned about the life of them... They work great now, but I see the surface defect contributing greatly to their ultimate failure. Thus the perils of buying something mail order vs. in person.

Omelet pans

This product should have been described as an omelet pan set rather than a skillet set. They are very nice omelet pans but not really what I was looking for. Perhaps I should have been able to tell from the image that they are not actually skillets.

Seconds?

While these pans are definitely a great value for the price, there seems to be problems with quality control out of China in that these pans appear to have been airbrushed to cover defects in the coating. The defects are visual only but I was still disappointed. However, I will keep and use these pans as I intended.

Good Value, Nice Skillets

Since non-stick pans require replacing it was important to get the best pan for my money. These skillets have cooked beautiful omelets and are the right size for many small jobs. I like the riveted handles and the unique sides. My only "con" is the feel of the handle but the rest of the "pros" about the pans make it a small issue.
