Stellar Skillets

What more needs to be said, Calphalon is awesome. We have had our original set which we received from American Express as a rewards gift some 15 years ago. Everything is still in perfect condition except that we have worn thru several Skillets. I consider myself a pretty good cook and we entertain alot. We perfer to eat at home simply because we like quality food with minimal things such as salt, too much butter and the like. Seasoning and creativity is our priorty and having our complete set allows us the freedom to create endless receipes via Cooking. com and other sources. Sorry this review is long winded but I cannot express how happy we are with our Calphalon in fewer words.

Just as expected

8” & 10” Omelette Pan Set, (2-pc.)

I love it! With only a small amount of butter used (literally not even 1/2 teaspoon), just for flavoring, my eggs flowed around the pan without sticking!

Non-stick qualities. Even heat.

These skillets have excellent non-stick qualities.. Even when cooking eggs with cheese they are easy to clean. Let cool, soak a few minutes and wipe clean with little or no effort. They do not appear to have any hot spots and cook well on med to low heat seatings.

Although this set was on sale, I paid more than I would have paid for a set of skillets. I have not been disappointed in their use. They are really easy to cook with & very easy to clean. I also like the handles that can be put into a hot oven. I would buy more for my daughter if the price was a little lower.

Meals for two!

Great combination for meals for two, be it omeletes for two, a quick stir fry for lunch or a full meal with guests

Great pans

Fried egggs and omelettes slip and slide right out of the pan like magic. clean up is effortless.

Use

The pans are heavier than I would have liked.My last Calaphone was lighter and easier to handle. On the plus side it seems to cook foods evenly and I like it ok. It looks just like the ones that you had on sale for less. I think maybe I didn't get as good a deal as I thought.

Easy to clean. Excellent non-stick surface. Good heat retention and even temperature across skillet.

Great non-stick pan for omelets or sautéing

The 8 and 10 inch set of Calphalon Unison non-stick Omelet Pans are a perfect addition to your cooking arsenal. Omelets cook evenly and adhere to the pan enough for good covereage, but flip perfectly when it's time. No problems with oozing cheese; it simply doesn't stick. Always bare in mind that a frying pan is not an omelet pan. You need soft slopes on the sides to be able to manoever the egg around for flipping and these pans are well designed just for that purpose. Great for a quick sauté as well.

Move over cast iron

My wife was raised on cast iron cookware and swore by it until she reluctantly tried this skillet. you only need a few drops of oil to cook. No stick, no mess, and easy cleanup. A winner!

Pleased with Calphalon skillets, but ...

We have been using Calphalon skillets and other cookware for a number of years now, and have been very pleased. We purchased the 8" & 10" set from the web site. Unfortunately, the 10" pan arrived damaged. The set was returned for credit. We will likely purchase additional Calphalon products in the the future, but only from a store from now on.

Caphalon frying pans

These are great nonstick frying pans that can be used on the stove-top and placed in the oven. They clean so easily that I don't put it in the dishwasher although it is dishwasher-safe as well! They do great for almost all foods. However, I have to use a non-stick spray or butter for frying eggs. Fried eggs stick to the surface for some reason. Overall though, I think they are excellent and well worth the money.

Quality non-stick pans.

I bought these to replace 11yo Calphalon non-stick pans. I was interested in the fact that these are dishwasher safe, though I've only hand washed, so far. Give them a few months and I'll be sticking them in the dishwasher. For starters, have a nice heft. I have used them to cook eggs, hamburgers, etc. and so far, I have been pleased with the browning as well as the clean-up. I have a 12" non-stick All-Clad pan, which is nice, too, but there's no reason to pay that price. These work very well.

Love it so far.

I haven't had a chance to use the pans very much, but I loved them when they have been used. High-quality pans for sure.

Unison 8” & 10” Omelette Pan Set

I had been wanting a 10" Calphalon pan and when the Unison 8” & 10” Omelette Pan Set became available at the special offer price, I immediately purchased the set. We own 8 other Calphalon pans, one of which is a 12" Unison Slide pan. All my Calphalon pans are awesome, but the Unison Slide pans are exceptional. I love the new set and use one or both almost daily. They are great when cooking for 2, and my larger Calphalon pans allows me the flexibility to cook for more people when the need arises. I would recommend these pans to anyone.

Best pan on the market!

Great product easy to use. Heats food evenly. Easy to clean. Would recommend this pan to everyone.
