The weight and quality of Farberware has been compromised. I have used this brand for forty two years and I found the material used now is a lighter weight stainless steal than in previous years which is conducive to burning.

I make a coconut cake to die for although, for years now, have not found a durable double boiler to make my frosting. Well, my search is over. This pot made the perfect seven minute frosting. The frosting was exactly like the seven minute frosting that my mom made when I was little in her double boiler and clean-up was a breeze. I would not only recommend Farberware to others, I will most assuredly purchase Farberware products again. Thank you.
