A thing of beauty is a joy forever!

This is truly a beautiful pan. Its lines are sleek and lovely. It has no creases and so could almost be described as a saucier. It has an ample capacity and is the perfect size for most mid-sized applications (bechamel, reheating soup, etc...) I can't burn a sauce in this!!!

In addition to the fact that this pan is eye-candy hanging from a rack or on your shelf is the fact that the price is out of this world low!!! The only thing that makes my heart pitter pat as much as looking at this pan is the bargain I got here on cooking.com. I shopped around for this and couldn't find a lower price anywhere (including eBay where the lowest price identical pan was at least $10 more after shipping!!!)

In short, great pan, great price, great customer service... you can't lose!

I have a set of the Calphalon stainless cookware, and was making an addition to my set. The design is great, and the handles don't get hot.

This is a great 2 qt pot. A prefect size to cook steamed veggies (yes my steamer basked fits and does not interfer with a good tight fit on the lid), for 2 to 4 people. And it is multipurpose - does well for smaller portions of sauces and soups. It heats with a heavenly evenness. And best of all, if it gets even a little stained, it cleans good-as-new with Barkeepers Friend. I can't recommend it enough. No more non-stick for this lady!

I have the full set and this was a further geat addition to an excellent cooking range. This is the pan/pot to have, especially if you are doing sauces and anything requiring stirring. No sticky corners.

If you are going to buy seperately, this is a good pan/pot to start with.

I'm getting the Contemporary Stainless Steel by Calphalon to replace a very old very well used set of copper bottom Revere Ware. It's amazing how well a pot that isn't warped can cook. Who knew? Anyway, I love this design, the pots are easy to clean and cook very well. I can't wait to get more pieces!

Great and Good Looking!

this is a great chefs pan, especially when needed for simple side dishes, vegies, etc. Not to big, not too little, NO CORNERS to trap the flour when making a rue or a sauce. Good value for the price!

Outstanding chef's pan - I can't say enough about it. I wanted to leave it out on top of my stove to look at it. It was over 50% off - I couldn't pass it up and will enjoy it for many years to come.

The first thing I cooked in it was rice. The heat transfer to the food is definately better then my other cookware. I really like being able to see the food when it is cooking. The handle stayed cool enough that you don't need a pot holder. My only complaint is that satan finish is going to require alot more cleaning to keep the pot looking nice.

The very best sauce pan, but if it was not on sale with free shipping, I could not have afforded it.

I'm evaluating stainless versus nonstick cookware. This promotion was a great opportunity to try this piece at a terrific price. Haven't had a chance to use it too much yet with the holidays, but it's solid without being too heavy and the handle is very comfortable. The pan and lid handles both stay cool, too, except very close to the pan. The lid fits well.

I recently had to replace all of my non-stick cookware with bird-safe cookware. This SST 2 qt. Chef's Pan by Calphalon was on sale so I figured it was worth a try. I LOVE IT!

It's just right for one or two people, for cooking or just for heating things up.

I HAVE THE SET AND ADDED THIS PAN. LOVE IT!!!

This is a gift for a chef...

I have yet to use it, however my friend (also a chef) allows me to use her 4qt for my fudge. If the 2 qt is anything like the other one, I may have to get one for my own collection...

This is 1 of 3 new pots I ordered adding to my Calphalon set. It is the best.

I would like to see this type of pot with a 10 inch bottom and 4 to 4 1/2 inches tall with the clear glass lid.

Looks Great

I have not used it yet, but its construction and features appear to be very high quality to me. I am glad I chose this pan. I would recommend it to my riends, and it was a very fair price.

The only problem is that there are exessive labels such as names and logos on the product. Please avoid putting names and logos on visible areas of the product such as lid or on the cover or the sides, handles etc. Your excessive advertising ruined your product even though you might have done that to protect your intellectual property.

Nonstick cookware no longer appeals to me, for a variety of reasons. This line of stainless steel cookware is not only beautiful, but very functional. I use this pot so often, I bought a second one.
