Crafted in a unique five-ply construction, the cookware contains a core of pure copper that spreads heat quickly and evenly across the bottoms of pots and pans and all the way up the sides. Use it to quickly and thoroughly prepare sauces, reductions, heat or reheat food or cook pasta. Its polished 18/10 stainless-steel pan and lid handles are riveted for extra durability and grooved on the top for comfort. The long handle (holed for hanging on a hook or peg) and loop handle stay cool on the stovetop but won't be harmed by an oven's highest heat, even though it is oven-safe up to 500F degrees. Handwash, as dishwasher-use will deteriorate the pan's exterior beauty.

This is what a pan should be

The very first time I used this pan there was a small emergency elsewhere in the house, and I returned to the kitchen to find i had left the flame under the pan far higher than prudence would dictate. I was convinced I would find a burned mess inside, but the heat distribution is so good that the pan and the food were both doing just fine. I'm sold on these pans.
