Can always keep one in freezer, makes convenient and ready for next batch whether right away or days later. Glad I bought extra when I got the machine, as a reviewer suggested. Always read review to help make decision, but put more weight on positive comment instead of negatives which sometimes apply to that persons situation. This method seems to work for me- great fast service, easy to order online and love free ship and handling. thank you

I haven't used this item yet. I have read the instructions and have to make room in my freezer so it can set upright. I plan on keeping it in the freezer all of the time until I need it though.

My husband and I bought the Cuisanart ice cream/yogurt maker a few months ago. We love the ease of making ice cream without the need for ice or salt, and the mess that comes with it. We decided to buy a second freezer bowl so that we can make additional ice cream and have plenty to go around or to freeze to eat later. Keep it in the freezer prior to making the ice cream 24 hours in advance than once the churning is completed, let it sit in the bowl for an additional 20 minutes and you have a perfect consistency for your homemade ice cream!
