We have not tried other Ice Cream Makers but this one works well for us. We all ready had our Kitchenaid Mixer so it just made sense to go with the ice cream maker attachment.

Love it!

Small capacity and takes up a lot of room in the freezer; otherwise, useful and a good way to have homemade ice cream without the need for annoying machines and salt.

I have not had the opportunity to use my ice cream maker yet but am very anxious to use it. I have a neighbor who recommended it to me and they use theirs all of the time and I have tried some of the ice cream they made and it is great. Thanks.

A step forward.

I love that the Kitchen Aid stand mixer is so versetal that we can make ice cream without the mess. It's a great product and it makes a good amount of ice cream.

Tidy little machine

Very easy to set up and use. Ice cream is delicious! Could use more recipes, though! Buy this one!

Delicious homemade ice cream

I just purchased the ice cream maker and have made my first batch of vanilla ice cream with added fresh strawberries. I t was delicious and very easy to use. I have wanted this product for several years but could not justify the cost @ $80. I recently purchased it for $55 from a promotion by food network and I think that is a fair price. I have never made ice cream before so I can't compare this product with others. I would recommend this product just make sure you follow the directions regarding freezing the bowl.

There is nothing like your own ice cream.

Too unwieldy for me

I never did figure out how to put it together. I returned it. I'll buy an electric model that comes assembled.

I have not yet used the ice cream maker , but bought one for my son and his family and they think it is great! The bowl is in my freezer just waiting for its first use!

made my first batch of vanilla ice cream with Oreo cookies. was very pleased with the results and my family enjoyed it very much. the attachment was very easy to use. however the process is a little lengthy the 1st time around with having to freeze the container ahead of time, but i now store it in the freezer, so should be faster the next time around. can't wait to try making a sorbet or sherbert.

Good Frozen desserts fast.

The uce cream maker works quite well. We are happy we purchased it at such a good value.

Can't serve ice cream immediately.

I found that some recipes may say you can serve immediately. I found that the ice cream needed to be inthe freezer for several hours before serving. It comes out of the maker rather slushy. This was not a problem for me. I now make it with this in mind and it's great.

Works great. 20 minutes and you have fantastic ice cream.

Ice Cream Maker Attachment

This attachment was purchased to be a Christmas gift so it has not actually been used yet. However, I read the extensive reviews and they were positive as long as the attachment was kept very cold.

I haven't tried it, but summer will come!

I had to get this even though it was winter and ice cream is not on our favorites list right now, but I hadn't seen this attachment for my Kitchenaid Mixer and had to get it!

Easy, Easy making homemade, "delicious", icecream. Don't have the hazzle of buying salt, ice. Don't have to hand crank. Freeze the bowl, mix and chill your ingrediants the night before. The next day set up the attachment and let the mixer and bowl do its thing, in 15 minutes you have icecream ready to eat. All fresh, no preservatives, yum, yum, yum. I will never buy store bought icecream again.
