The Scrap Trap is high impact plastic, and I know because I dropped it as I was taking it out of the box. It did not break or crack on my tile floor. It's handy, a good size and well priced. I bought 3....2 will be gifts. However, the trap will not fit over every cabinet or drawer.

Haven't used this item yet, but from the looks of it, very happy with it. I think it will really come in handy for dicing and chopping.

The product will serve its purpose but it isnt high quality material. i thought it would be a rubbermaid type product instead of just plastic and the scraper is very cheaply made and won't last long.
