Ordered this sauce pan to replace a very old one that finally fell apart. I was skeptical about using stainless steel, but found that it's great to cook with. I've learned to purchase stainless steel for sauce pans and non-stick for skillets. The quality was far higher than I thought it would be and I love the grip coating on the pan handle and the lid handle. Just wish more sizes were made by Simply Calphalon so I could purchase a complete set of sauce pans. This is a 2 quart and would love to have a 3 quart along with a double-boiler. Like the design of Simply Calphalon better than the more expensive Calphalon. Will keep looking for more sizes. I would highly recommend this product.

If I could, I would replace all my old cookware with this brand. I believe the sauce pan will out last me!
