I first bought Calphalon pans because they were the only ones I could find made in USA! I am so glad that I got aquainted with the Calphalon, because I truly LOVE them. I bought a complete set in the beginning, and then I needed a couple more pans. I hope they never quit making them in the USA!

Great pot

by Risa, MN
September 19, 2007

I bought the same pot under a different name in a set (Kitchen Essentials) and ran it through the dishwasher, which pretty much ruined it. I absolutely LOVED it though and was pleased to find they still make it. The plastic handles rock, the see through lid is great, and it's a seriously heavy duty pot that nothing sticks to.

IMO a best buy for the money

This is a great little all around sauce pan. Because of its construction it cooks as well as a lot of the high dollar pans that I own. Plus it's a snap to clean. IMO, it's a best buy for the money.

I bought this pan for my boyfriend. He's never had a good set of pots and pans and I thought it was a nice starter for him. He is pleased and has enjoyed cooking in it. I was suprised to see that it was oven safe!

I bought this to replace another 2-qt Calphalon that we had ruined. It is lightweight, easy to move around and absolutely nothing sticks, unless you're a lousy cook like I am.

Well worth the investment, even at list price!

Completing pan set

I ordered this saucepan to complete my saucepan collection. It was the only size I did not have. It is an excellent saucepan; heavy duty, perfect size for cooking vegetables, sauces, etc.

Excellent general purpose pan.

I have found this saucepan to be versatile and useful for cooking a variety of things. Although some don't like the fact that Calphalon pans can't be put in a dishwasher, for me, that isn't a problem, since we don't have a dishwasher. Besides, this pan is truly nonstick and very easy to wash.

Caphalon Sauce Pan

by Mary , OR
June 7, 2008

Super pan, have cooked several varieties of rice and several types of oatmeal, as well as the usual boiled potatoes and other vegetables, and all were excellent. Will soon do some puddings. Clean up is a breeze. Liked it so well that I bought 2 for gifts and everyone thinks it was great also. Very nice styling is a bonus. Have arthiritis but these Caphalon pans are not too heavy, easy to cook in and easy to clean. Was my first Caphalon sauce pan but won't be the last.

I could not find this item in any of our cookware stores. The only way it was available was to buy the entire cookware set, which I did not need. I already had the one quart sauce pan and two skillets in calphalon.

I love my sauce pan. Food cooks great and the clean up, of course, is wonderful. For the money, you can't go wrong with this pan.

I have a set of Calphalon anodized pans and thought this would be comperable. However, it is a bit lighter than some of the Calphalon line. It's okay, but not the greatest pot I have in the kitchen.

I love this pan. It's high quality. However, it is alot smaller than I expected it to be, so I've only used it once. Just be sure of the size you are needing before you purchase.

First of many Calphalons!

by John, NC
December 3, 2008

Got this one because of the utilitarian size and the price. Since using it, I have decided to replace all my pots with Calphalons. I would like to buy a set, but on SS I will have to take it one a month.
