nice little kettle

by Barbara , MD
January 18, 2012

this is the perfect little size tea kettle...has plenty of water for two large mug size teas...whistle is good--loud enough and a little shrill so you know it's ready. Also nice because I can use it on my ceramic stove top. Very pleased with this purchase!

TEAKETTLE OPERATION

by Art, SC
May 4, 2011

NICE DESIGN. HOWEVER, AFTER WATER COMES TO A BOIL AND TEAKETTLE WHISTLES, YOU HAVE NO WAY OF STOPPING THE WHISTLE EXCEPT TO REMOVE IT FROM THE BURNER. THIS IS ANNOYING TO NOT HAVE A WAY TO CLICK THE WHISTLE CAP TO AN UPWARD POSITION.

A good choice

by Hugh, WA

I was impressed with the design of this tea kettle and am a fan of Calphalon quality in other items, so I purchased this item. I use my tea kettle all the time, so it needs to work well. Others have mentioned the quiet whistle, but it seems perfectly loud to me. The shape and design is very attractive, and the balance is excellent. I was a little disappointed with the thin metal on the base (I thought it would be heavier than the sides like my last tea kettle was) but it was not. Still, it seems to work perfectly and is, as I said, attractive and functional, so I rate it a "4".

Plain and simple quality teakettle. Looks good, works well, doesn't scratch my stove or shed paint like my le crueset.

What can you say about a tea kettle, it holds water to boil. I have no complaints thus far.

I accidently let the water boil out of my original Calphalon Teakettle which I loved and was hoping the new kettle would be identical. It is not but I like the shape and the price was totally different from my original kettle which I purchased several years ago and was in excellent condition until I let the water boil away.

Nice kettle

by Marian, NY
October 26, 2011

It's well balanced, and I like being able to open the top and clean inside.
Thought it's difficult to see the "Max level" when filling, not that it appears to be that crucial when you are making tea.

This is a great teakettle.....works great, not-too-loud whistle, good handle features, and is also stylish. Glad I replaced my inferior old one.

I love the teakettle. I had one that I bought about 5 years ago, not a Calphalon, and it paled in comparison to yours.

Everyday Use

by John, IN
July 10, 2012

We happen to enjoy instant coffee. Obviously, we will use a teakettle as our choice to make coffee. EVERY morning, we have our coffee and read our newspaper, hence the importance of a GOOD teakettle. This one passes the test.

Whistling Tea Kettle Meets Expectations

by Deborah, MA
February 11, 2013

I like everything about this whistling tea kettle. The whistle is loud but not too loud, the water boils in a timely manner, and unlike my previous tea kettle, the water pours out without any sputtering or splashing. Easy to pour and handle stays cool. Looks very nice on the stove.
