I have ordered this product numerous times and been very satisfied. However, this time the tea bags arrived without the protective packaging/bag pictured above. The individual tea bags were loosely put into a carboard box. In order for that to have happenend someone clearly handled each tea bag which is not at all sanitary for a food product. Did any get dropped on the floor? That is just one questions that comes to mind about the cleanliness. Even if having your food product put into a packing box was tolerable, the fact that the box was not a tight seal allowed the tea to become exposed to air and reduced the freshness of the tea. In the past, when I opened the bag the aroma of the tea was strong and clearly fresh. This time I could not even smell the tea at all, just cardboard. I was very unhappy and immediately ordered it again, telling the CS person that I wanted the protective sealed bag that the product is supposed to come in and the way it is advertised. She was also very surprised and placed a new order. The tea arrived again without packaging and loose tea bags in a cardboard box. I will not order products from your company again unless this problem is resolved. I want clean, sealed, protective packaging for a food product. And by the way, that is how it is advertised in the picture!
Make the Starbuck's "shaken iced tea" at home, when you want. This is the same product they use. I found it best to pour 1 quart boiling water over one bag, wait 5 minutes. Then, squeeze the bag gently, and add one more quart of cold water to the pitcher or container. Then for a glass use 50% concentrate and 50% water!
If you like Starbuck's Black Iced Tea, but do not want to pay $2.00 for it, this item is for you. This is the exact blend that they use.

I love Tazo's black iced tea blend (even though it's somewhat pricey). I got hooked on this tea at Starbuck's. Unfortunately, they no longer sell it in stores, and Tazo apparently doesn't package it for retail any longer. Thank you Cooking.com for making it available to the consumers who want to enjoy it at home!
I love the Tazo Black Iced Tea. Starbucks used to serve it but has switched to Awake. That's like expecting a Corvette and getting a Camaro. Yea, they are both cool sports cars, but there is a big difference.
Starbucks, if you are listening switch back to Tazo Black Iced Tea and dump the Awake. Better yet, don't, and I'll just keep ordering it by the box and make it at home.
This tea tastes great and brews up crystal clear (unlike the glass of tea pictured). We have tried many different brands, and you won't find a better tasting tea. A bit pricey, but the box of one gallon bags lasts a long time.
Cooking.com makes it possible for the public to have awesome iced tea at home. This is the tea that Starbucks uses for their shaken black iced tea. For the price of 5 or 6 of their tea, you can buy it through Cooking.com and get months of tea for that price!!! Cooking.com rocks!!
This is a great tasting black tea. Its bold but not bitter. It is very similar to starbucks' black tea but a little less citrus taste, These bags make a couple gals at a time, If you are an avid tea drinker, you will NOT be disappointed in this choice. I highly recommend it. If the quantity is too large, share with a friend--they'll love you for it!!
This tea is great! It's the same tea that you get at Starbucks - I've asked them what Brand the tea is. It has the awesome taste without the high cost! If you love Starbucks black iced tea like I do.... you'll love this even better!
We love this tea, it is difficult to find in the stores in the summer.
I found the bags online and purchased them. The size of the bags (very large)
was not mentioned. They seem to be expensive because they are twice the size of the bags you find in the stores. If you get these buy a larger pitcher while your online.
Love this tea and were thrilled when we found a place where we could get the product and make it ourselves instead of having to pay over $2 a glass for it at Starbucks! For the price of about 2 or 3 glasss we get a whole gallon. Mmmmm
Since I gave up soft drinks, this tea is my splurge and it's worth every penny! I was glad to find a source besides Starbucks to buy the Tazo Iced Tea. I appreciate not having to buy so many small boxes, besides, at Starbucks the availability is limited, but I drink iced tea all year round.
The quality compared to what's available at the grocery store is so much better that's it's worth the additional price. The tea has a great, refreshing flavor with a light hit of citrus. Everyone who I've served it to at my house has commented on how much they enjoy it.
This is the best iced tea I have ever found. My whole family is hooked on it. We
order it at Starbucks year round. Being southerners, iced tea is mother's milk for all of us. My two and a half year old grandson cries if I run out. My husband and I go through 4 or 5 gallons a week, more if the kids are over. We love it sweetened while hot. Then I put iced water (with ice cubes in it) in to the gallon line on my pitcher, shake vigoriously to cool it down and it can be refrigerate with good results. It MUST be shaken or it will be cloudy. I don't know why and it doesn't work well in iced tea maker. My pitcher is the Lock and Lock brand gallon container I found on QVC. It may be available on Cooking.com -I don't know.
