let you say yes or no. I'd recommend - letting them know that this fish poacher is lighter weight than other more expensive ones. And frankly would prefer to have a heavier one. So it's okay for the price, but anyone interested in purchasing, should look at better ones prior to purchasing this one.

I can't wait to use my poacher on the BBQ. I will poach corn on the cob , salmon, veggies all kinds of stuff. I did use it on the stove for some cod and it turned out delish.

This poacher works wonderfully, and is very solid. But it's BIG. Before buying, think about the size of the fish you would usually cook. If the poacher is larger than you need for your fish, you can still use it, but you will need much more liquid to cover the fish, and that makes a difference if you are poaching in something other than plain water. It takes a lot of wine, even mixed with water, or a lot of stock, to make enough flavored poaching liquid for this 20" poacher. Buy the size you really need, not a bigger size.

This fish poacher was exactly what I wanted. I have looked for one for some time and was thrilled to not only find it on line but to receive it within just 2 or 3 days.
