I have ordered this product numerous times and been very satisfied. However, this time the tea bags arrived without the protective packaging/bag pictured above. The individual tea bags were loosely put into a carboard box. In order for that to have happenend someone clearly handled each tea bag which is not at all sanitary for a food product. Did any get dropped on the floor? That is just one questions that comes to mind about the cleanliness. Even if having your food product put into a packing box was tolerable, the fact that the box was not a tight seal allowed the tea to become exposed to air and reduced the freshness of the tea. In the past, when I opened the bag the aroma of the tea was strong and clearly fresh. This time I could not even smell the tea at all, just cardboard. I was very unhappy and immediately ordered it again, telling the CS person that I wanted the protective sealed bag that the product is supposed to come in and the way it is advertised. She was also very surprised and placed a new order. The tea arrived again without packaging and loose tea bags in a cardboard box. I will not order products from your company again unless this problem is resolved. I want clean, sealed, protective packaging for a food product. And by the way, that is how it is advertised in the picture!
Make the Starbuck's "shaken iced tea" at home, when you want. This is the same product they use. I found it best to pour 1 quart boiling water over one bag, wait 5 minutes. Then, squeeze the bag gently, and add one more quart of cold water to the pitcher or container. Then for a glass use 50% concentrate and 50% water!
If you like Starbuck's Black Iced Tea, but do not want to pay $2.00 for it, this item is for you. This is the exact blend that they use.

This a great tea! Bold flavors. I agree it is close to the tea at Starbucks. Starbucks' tea has more of a citrus flavor. These bags can make as much as 2 gals. per bag depending on your desired strength. Once chilled it will cloud however it does not take away from the flavor. If you are a tea lover, give this a try-- you won't be disappointed. Con: The bags come loose in a small box and once opened, you need to put in a zip bag or airtight container. Also, because of the packaging, I have received some bags that were split open. They should rethink their packaging. Also, I have been shorted bags but cooking.com quickly made it right.
I love this tea. Purchasing from Cooking.com is an economical way to enjoy the same tea as from Starbucks. My only complaint is that it used to come in a fold down bag to help keep the bags fresh and now it comes in a cardboard box. I just put them all in a large baggie and store in the frig.
This black iced tea has strength and a pleasant citrus tone.
Starbucks used to use Tazo Black Iced Tea but has switched to Tazo's Awake tea. Blah!
By far the Iced Black Tea by Tazo is better than anything I've found. That's why the Starbucks crew is asking, "Where's Dave? I haven't seen him here in a while." It's because I'm getting a superior product at less than half the price.
The flavor of this tea makes it so refreshing. I am a picky tea person...don't like a lot of flavored teas...but this has a tasty zip to it and it just makes it taste better than any tea I have ever tasted before. I am hooked!
My favorite cafe in town went out of business and the owner gave me a commercial-sized box of Tazo Iced Tea. Once that box was gone, I went in search of the same thing on the internet and found it at cooking.com. It is EXACTLY what I had before and wanted to use -- makes an entire gallon at one time (I love iced tea). The shopping on cooking.com was easy, packing and shipping quick (though I paid for expedited delivery), and the shipment arrived shrink-wrapped and in good condition. I will buy more from this source when this box runs out.
Starbucks used to carry the boxes of Tazo Black Iced Tea for retail sale but no longer. Now it's only available online (no worries there), but the bags are commercial sized--each bag makes 5 quarts of tea! What an ordeal. Please, Tazo, bring back your black iced tea for home use.
I love Tazo's black iced tea blend (even though it's somewhat pricey). I got hooked on this tea at Starbuck's. Unfortunately, they no longer sell it in stores, and Tazo apparently doesn't package it for retail any longer. Thank you Cooking.com for making it available to the consumers who want to enjoy it at home!
I love the Tazo Black Iced Tea. Starbucks used to serve it but has switched to Awake. That's like expecting a Corvette and getting a Camaro. Yea, they are both cool sports cars, but there is a big difference.
Starbucks, if you are listening switch back to Tazo Black Iced Tea and dump the Awake. Better yet, don't, and I'll just keep ordering it by the box and make it at home.
