Good quality, good value

I wanted to add to an existing set of casual flatware that I love and could no longer find locally. I found the Cooking.Com website when Google-ing the name inscribed on the back of the flatware. I was impressed with the selection, product descriptions, prices and especially the pictures. The pictures allowed me to find what I thought was an exact match to my existing silverware. Ordering was simple and delivery was fast. When the silverware arrived, it turned out to be slightly different than what I had, but it's close, exhibiting the same clean contemporary lines and solid weight of my current silverware, the two things I valued most. I can't speak to durability, but my existing set, with the exception of the teaspoon that made a trip into the running garbage disposal, has seen 12 years of daily use and dishwasher cleaning and is still beautiful and functional. I'm hoping for a repeat performance. I would rate the product a 5, but I'd first need to see if it holds up.

I live this flatware, the only downfall is its spots very bad (looks almost like pitting) out of the dishwasher. Other then slight matianance to keep it presentable, they are heavy (but not TOO heavy) and the design fits well in your grip and very modern, long, and lean. This has been my favorite looking flatware.

Good everyday silverware for the price

Only comment is that the quality of the silverware ordered online isn't quite the same level as when original set was purchased. Had some manufacturing flaws in the handles. Still a good value for the money and holds up well to daily and frequent usage.
