The Flatware had some defectives on a few of the pieces-small marks that weren't scratches. And I couldn't find the information to see if it was stainless. but I like it and I won't be washing it in the dishwasher.

Yes, they are a hoot. I love these with the owls on them. We have owls where I live so this is so special. The construction is very nice and the flatware handles well. I love all Rachel's products and look forward to ordering more.
