LOVE THE REVERSIBLE DOUBLE GRILL/GRIDDLE!

We absolutely love this grill/griddle. We keep it right on the stove and it fits perfectly over the two burners. We have used both sides and are extremely pleased with the results. And we love the fact that it is nice and heavy so it stays firmly in place and can take high heat. You will LOVE this product!!

This fits great on our new Viking range and was about 1/6 the cost of the official Viking griddle (about $180). Plus it's from Lodge, so you know they have good quality cast iron products. And to top it all off, it was pre-seasoned, ready to go right out of the box. Great product, great value.

This grill is a great grill to have. I had a nonstick grill before this and found that I couldn't scrub it. Food still sticks to nonstick surfaces at grilling temperatures. This is a heavy, long lasting grill. I think this will still be around long after I am gone and I'm only 34. Great product.

We could not have found anything better to use on our grill. We cook a lot of fish and it has NEVER tasted better. It cooks evenly and the fish is done correctly. Toppings for the fish/veggies stay on the food and do not drop into the grill. We do not know how we did without it.

Be aware that you must clean it and then spray it with cooking oil and that it is heavy.

Very sturdy griddle, heats evenly like all cast iron. Cast iron is always great to fry and grill on. As for the weight- cast iron is heavy and would not be recommended for the elderly or someone with diminished strength.

I use this daily. This is a fantastic cast iron griddle. Perfect for enough pancakes for the whole family if you use two burners. I use this on two electric burners and it performs great. If you like those really cool grill marks on steaks, chicken, fish or veggies, the grill side will work to perfection.
As long as your seasoned and/or oiled enough and you manage your heat, it works like a charm.
Nothing beats the sound of a nice metal spatula on a cast iron griddle. Two tools in on e, this grill/griddle is top quality. Wash with a pot brush and water only. No soap. Dry immediately. Season with a little oil after and it's ready to go. It's a bit heavy, so make sure it's in the right spot before it gets too warm. Also, makes sure the under side is clean before you start to heat it up. The underside may smoke for a second, but it's ok, as long as you don't soak it with oil when you season it.

Excellent product although not suggested for someone who can't handle an extremely heavy pan. It grills to perfection and is easy to keep clean. I use it constantly!

This grill is fantastic the food tastes much better on it and it fits alot of burgers on it,however it is extremely heavy I bought it for my elderly mother and its hard for her to move around. This makes it tough to clean especially when you turn it over from the griddle to the grill it leaves stuff on your stove and youll need to wash down your stove burner But as far as cooking the food goes it's a fantastic product

Love it!

It's heavy but worth the effort to use it. Since I received the pan it hasn't left the stove top other to clean it. It's great cooking breakfast; eggs, bacon, ham, hash browns, pancakes, and other meals like grilled cheese sandwiches, tacos, grilled meats. I even made a pannini with a press on the grill.

FIRE UP THE STOVE....

This is a great product. Does exactly what the description states...it grills food. Really like the idea that it is already seasoned at the factory AND here's a great one too....IT'S MADE IN AMERICA!!!! My husband made some steaks for our first cooking project and they came out perfect. The grill is easy to clean and being reversible is a dual purpose item. The heavy cast iron material produces a even heating surface, there are no hot or cold spots, simply even heat distribution for consistent cooking results. Also fits perfectly on our gas stove. One review stated it was heavy in weight. It weighs around 20 lbs...it's cast iron folks. If handling this grill/griddle is a weight issue...possibly hitting the gym more frequently might resolve the lack of muscle mass. Would recommend this item to anyone.

This does precisely as it was designed to do in a manner consistent with first-rate cooking surfaces. It heats evenly and produces outstanding results.

Nice and heavy, heats evenly. I liked the grease channel; not present on prior models.

Outstanding gift

I bought the griddle for my Daughter-in-Law, since it was on her Christmas list.
She was delighted with the ready to use presentation, the weight on the burners
with no wiggling as others had done and the even heating surface. According to her,
she keeps it on the stove all the time for pancakes or French toast at breakfast to cooking tortillas at lunch/dinner. With the quadruple surface area cooking is faster and much more energy efficient. She really loves its performance and I am so glad I found your web site and the five star ratings from previous customers to help me choose so wisely.

Great quality, heavy but works!!

Wore out two other double burner grills so I wanted one that would last. This is heavy but came pre-seasoned. They do need to note that it still needs cooking spray even if it is pre-seasoned as most of my first batch of chichen stuck to the grill. Once I started using cooking spray, works like a charm for quickly grilling up some chicken for a salad or dinner.

really good investment

any good piece of cast iron is a good investment for your kitchen and this griddle is at the top of the list. it is heavy, yes, it's cast iron. you need to read the instructions on how to use and care for it and if you do so properly, it will last your lifetime. this griddle is awesome for it's price, makes perfect pancakes and i love the grill to cook veggies on. all of the negative reviews i've read sound like they came from people who didn't know how to cook on cast iron or who didn't understand why it's so heavy. if you love to cook and are looking for a good cast iron griddle, your search ends here.

Works well, but I think it could be bigger. It doesn't really cover 2 burners on my cooktop, and slices of bacon are difficult to fit without them drooping over the sides. Also should have a spout to pour off grease.

The griddle is well made, it gives excellent results but it is a little too short
to fit Viking cook-tops. I believe this will be same for other similar quality
gas cook-tops.
