If you love to bake you must have the best of tools to accomplish the best of finished products and this Paula Deen Rooling Pin is excellent.

Cooks sometimes don't realize that you need different rolling pins for different applications. There's nothing like a good wooden rolling pin for biscuits or dumplings. In addition to having good "action" and balance, this pin is simply beautiful to look at. Beautiful, functional tools enhance the cooking experience for the cook. This one is worth every cent of the purchase price.

Beautiful wood rolling pin. One drawback: too long/large for my kitchen drawers -- has to be kept in a bottom cabinet.

Rolling pin arrived within just a few days...cross country to CA. Have not used it yet but will soon as I have to start my Christmas Cookie baking soon. Rolling Pin is beautiful...almost too pretty to use. Would like to find something to display it when I'm not using it.

I ordered the Rolling Pin along with the Pastry Board and am impressed with the quality of the item. It appears to be made of good wood and is well-stained and very smooth. Rolling pie dough has been made much easier, especially when used with the Pie/Pastry Board. An excellent value for both items.

I have already used it several times and this is now my favorite rolling pin for pizza and crusts. First it is beautiful wood to look at plus it's soft and feels great to touch. The long length gives me what I need for large pieces. Flour can get between the handles and pin, so I am careful to not allow any water there when cleaning. That is a minor annoyance considering the look and power of this pin. It really is beautiful so it can be left out for others to see. Not many pins have that quality.

I love it! It rolls very easily, has really good, sturdy handles. Washes and dries very easily. I make cookies just so I can use my rolling pin!

I simply love this rolling pin. I purchased the pie board and the rolling pin together. They both are great. I have the bread board made of the same wood which I love. Clean up is easy and the rolling action is fantastic. Great purchase for the price. Anyone who bakes will love this rolling pin. It is longer than most pins, but I have wide drawers in my kitchen island where it is kept. I also love the extra length for rolling.

I was looking for a rolling pin that had a longer length than average and felt this would be a good choice. There are pits in the wood (great for bacterial growth) and the handles are crooked. Also, the handles have a gap between them and the edge of the rolling pin which, again, allows for dough to creep into the cracks. Too much risk for bacteria to grow!
