I love tihs griddle. Heats up fast and cooks evenly. AND...it's made in the USA. Can't beat it.

BK 27"x13" Electric Griddle is-as advertised

I was able to get six 5" pancakes on it comfortably, which gets the kids to the table and fed and gives me time to put another round of six on for my wife and me. I also cooked four pancakes with bacon on the side. Although the bacon cooked, it was difficult to get it crispy, as I like it, without turning up the temperature too high for the pancakes. I have not tried cooking eggs but expect I'll use the gridde for pancakes only. The griddle got up to temperature in minutes and cooked evenly. The directions suggested cooking pancakes between 325-350 degrees, however my griddle needed to be on the higher end of that spectrum.

The griddle heat evenly and quickly. The griddle is great. However: Cooking.com's customer service was extremely poor. Originally ordered online at the end of November 2009 was never notified that it would not be shipped until mid December 2009 until days before the delivery date. Then received an email that it was backordered not once but twice and delivery date was not scheduled until end of January 2010 all the while Cooking.com had our money for the ittem. We have ordered other items from other websites and accustomary practic is not to be charged until the item is being shipped. We contacted Coooking.com on several occassions without any responses. Whe the item was delivered the power cord was missing and the custmomer service represtative was extremely rude and accused us of lying about not receiving the power cord. It took almost 3 months to receive this item ... good thing it was not for a Christmas gift!!!
