I can get all of knives out where they are handy to use. It's well made, and hold my Hencles and Shun knives. None are missing in some drawer, plus their is a spot for kitchen sheres.

finally my knives are all organized

I love my new knife block! It has ample room for all my knives. I don't use a cleaver, so I used that slot for my pizza cutter; perfect! Finally, my knives are all organized.

What, no bottom?

Finally, enough slots, but the longest knives stick out of the bottom! It must be set on something that will not damage the blades or the countertop.

I feel that we got a very good knife block for our money. I like that it had enough slots for all our knifes and sissors.

Great Deal For Canadian Shoppers

I just bought this 22 -slot Henckels from Cooking.com.What a great deal for Canadian shoppers even with the shipping included.I shopped around and was unable to find this block in Canada at this price.When the block arrived i was so excitied to find a well crafted hardwood block.The block was well packed and arrived undamaged. I am now able to store my Henckel Twin Cuisine knives and they look great .Thank you so very much.

I am extremely pleased with my purchase of a knife block. I have very expensive knives and didn't have a block for them. I was wrapping each in a towel to protect them. This way it lookes wonderful on my counter.

Henckels knife block

This knife block could have one or two more large slots but overall it works pretty well. It looks great on my counter.

22-slot knife block

This fits all of the knives that I purchased plus some old knives that I already had on hand. My 10" chef's knife fits without sticking out the bottom of the block. Can't wait to add more new knives.

Good piece of equipment

Good materials, crisp joinery and edges. Lower-price models seem to feature sloppy joinery and slot cuts and bad finish work. Don't waste money on those. Spend a little more and get something decent. I'd buy this again if I had to.

Holds an awful lot of cutlery. emptied out my cluttered draw with this thing. i still keep a lot of stuff on magnetic holder right next to it.

Finally

It is such a pleasure to see all my Henckels knives in one block at last. I had a smaller block from a different supplier, and not all my knives fit. Now they all sit together in one spot, protected from unnecessary wear and tear. It's wonderful, and they look good in their own special space.

Finally found it!

I had been looking everywhere for a light colored block to hold all my knives plus my new steak knives. Every "home store" I tried had only blocks with a set of knives or small useless blocks. Thanks Food Network for coming to the rescue.

Nice to have a single block

I had knives everywhere... so nice to have them in one block and easily accessible.

This knife block will hold all my knives and I still have room for more.It is well made ,heavy and large.

Fits under counter

I previously had a block that had to moved out everytime you took a knife out - I was looking for one on the slant, this is it. Only wish instead of so many short widths it had a couple of larger widths to fit a better variety of larger width knives.

Needs more variety

The large Chef's Knife slots are not quite wide enough so I had toe use the cleaver slot for one a Chef's Knife and another large hole for poultry shears would have been nice but the shear number of slots is nice.

The product is the same as pictured, but the rubber feet are a nice addition.

Beats Wusthof due to quality control

I originally bought the 25 slot Wusthof (the more slots the better) for more money. I did not get it at Cooking.com to be fair to C.c. When I opened it, it had a deep blue stain on the top right hand corner that could not be removed. In addition, one of the openings was totally out of kilter. I was dissappointed and decided that the Wusthof lack of quality control warranted moving elsewhere. When I received the Henckel's 22-slot item from Cooking.com, I could not have been more pleased. Absolute perfection!!

I also have to assume that Cooking.com checks their merchandise before they ship it.

wish i could find one with about 40 slots in it. doesn't all cooks have this many knifes, seams that i do! nice overall!
